Besides you, some haven't come to the acceptance that Tali might look unappealing or not the way they expected/wanted. They know Bioware won't make her unattractive so they live contentedly. Some will be accepting, some will adjust, some will be turned off.  It's all interesting and completely worth it.

Take turians for example. If there was a female on board *coughCharlacough* I might hit that. Looks don't mean sh!t in video games, only in real life lol

As far as im concerned there is almost no way they could ruin Tali unless, like Rune said, they completely change her character. As far as her looks can't say I have anything but praise thus far, and if they plan on basing her face on the siluet you see under the mask, then with the right textures shell easily be the most attractive character in the game imo. But seriously shes been my favorite character for years without knowing what she looks like Bioware would have to do something involving pure evil  and possible sacrifices to the chaos gods to come even close to changing that.

I started my "might as well be first ever" playthrough after having deleted my 5 other playthroughs when I wiped my hdd. I just became a specter and I'm done for the night. I'll keep you updated, but for now Imma play some Bad Company 2.

lol I wasn't comparing Tali to God, only trying to make a point that these fictional universes have real effect on people. Whether it's their perspective or their personality or even career choices. It's normally not very healthy to be so engrossed in video games, but people do, and I try to find some good in it.

Indeed, I'm expecting them to model off of the placeholder, since it's still a part of her even if it's just a placeholder, anything drastically different from the placeholder may confuse people, but it's simple enough to keep the shape but change the appearance.

Hmm, never thought of it that way. Reading is obviously healthier than playing MW2 for 6 hours every day, but both are hobbies of self-indulgence. And I do forum wh*re a lot
