Just have to jump back in the topic, to say this about the quarian slaver girl on Illium. Her contract costs few hundred thousands of credits easily.
No one would buy her to put into some mine. Even batarians wouldn't do it. Think they rather raid another human colony for those mines. So I think your fear in that subject is little overacted.

Indeed.
Also... now that I think of it... I have to ask...
What kind of slavery are you selling her into?
I think you and I both know the answer to that question.
Do we? This whole time that I've been thinking about it... my mind has gone to a mine somewhere in the Omega asteroid...
Damn. You really ARE turning it up to eleven.
Daro'Xen will, in her mind, embody the quarian people.
Though broken and battered, treated like filth beneath the boot of the galaxy's so called "civilization", she has remained proud and strong.
Retribution is her right, as it is for all quarians.
Damn.
You're actually comfortable with writing about it though? Depicting it?
I have to say. I respect your guts. That's more than most can say.

She was scared specifically of being sent into a mine. Ask her about it.
"I don't want them taking me off to a mine somewhere..."
And that's why her contract demanded her to remain on-world.
Hence the three problems, why Shep can't buy and free her.
1) high cost contract
2) must be on world
3) early freeing, extra costs
But I would have bought her and forwarded her to be Liara's little hacker.

"You think we kidnap quarians and make them do all the hard work? Not anymore we don't."
That puts a lot of horrible images into my head...

I will not hold back here.
Nothing short of the uncensored truth is acceptable here.
The only thing I am concerned with is if what I plan is safe to post here.
If not, I will bring it elsewhere.

You have my full support. Better to post it on FF.net, and of course, you can link it back here when new chapters are up for those interested.

I think that it stopped when Wrex became the leader. Would make sense, since Wrex did see Tali in action. and serve with her.

Yes, that seems to be the best choice.
I wonder how many people will actually want to keep reading.

I feel like I shold say something sarcastic or witty, but I'm too tired.
It's morning now.
Work begins tomorrow. Or today. Whatever.

Advise reading it. Very tragic. Still, best story I've read on the internet. Gained the most response out of me anyway. I've read a LOT.
