Wuss.  It is heavy, but not nearly as depressing as many of Canned's works.  It really is one of the better stories, especially for a short story (NuclearBuddha has one of the best longer, chaptered novellas IMO).

I also suggest reading "Borrowed Time" by cannedcream.  Its also very well done (I like it as much as Drifting)

Actually Borrowed time left me more in anger than Drifting did.

Mainly because the events in Drifting was already happened. And in Borrowed time, they were happening at the moment. I wished so much that it would have ended how Shepard would have grapped the gun out of Tali's hands.
