Yeah, that sounds like BS to me. I have a hard time believing that Tali would do something like that based on some eavesdropped conversation between some random quarian and a turian. Especially when she said herself that she don't want nerve stimulators to be a part of their relationship.

Well, she got them because Valley Girl Quarian in the fic apparantly elaborated a whole lot more on why it couldn't work between quarians and humans biology-wise, and she got scared or something. But yeah, it's a pretty crappy fanfic. (Though I shouldn't have expected too much of considering it was in the category "MassKink"... )

No, I didn't mean that you should kill him, of course not. But the general downfall when your best and most trusted friend gets captured by batarians, with no idea on their intentions, and he starts a frantic rescue mission. Searching dozen's of planets, but still coming empty handed.

Miranda got captured by her dad (but why would we resque her?)
garrus captured by mercenaries... no.
mordin captured by krogan. eh plausible but not myth confirmed (mythbusters ftw!)
legion has already been discussed...
grunt got captured by that rival krogan gang. not many epic fight scenes there though
tali captured cause shes shepards girl oh and has valuable information about how to infiltrate the flotilla
jack captured by bounty hunters for, um, for... liara t'soni because she's valuable
jacob because we let them have him, no one liked him anyway

so it's between jack or tali
