Thankfully I found the whole all race of females not too corny and could get over it, I was really into science and that sort of stuff when I was young and it has still carried a little bit till now so I didnt mind her too much. So I have her for all, but one love interest in ME1, then there was the 1 I slaved myself through with Ash.... ughhh.

I'm sadly about to do the same now with Miranda, I just cant get it out of my head I want to do the LI with Tali again, but Im someone who wants to explore everything in the game from the male character standpoint(the one female I just couldnt finish too much Kaiden hitting on me to stand). But Miranda is such a monotone ****, i just have this loathing feeling for her every time she speaks, god damn I dont think they could have made a more cocky person in a game than her.

I've romanced everyone thus far except Jacob. I saw his romance online, I don't want to romance Jacob at all now. I have played the game eight times now, every game I have done something different, so I get your meaning. I do like Miranda, too, but I have to admit I respected her much more outside of her romance.

Incidentally, I am romancing her in this game again, except this time I am playing renegade, it's just going to be me relentlessly teasing her about her inferiority complex.Image IPB

I totally agree.

It's sad, Ash ALWAYS goes on about how if their backs are against the wall, the aliens will abandon them.

REALLY?

Cause as it turns out, Tali stood up to her people for me despite Cerberus's history, Garrus joined up with me grinning like an idiot despite having half his face blown off, Wrex gave me the equivelent of a ****ing hug, and even Liara, psycho **** that she may have become, went through hell to get my body back from the Collectors and the Shadow Broker. And you're calling ME a traitor?

Yeah... the aliens REALLY turned their backs on me Ash... how could I ever have been stupid enough to trust them...

You know, I never really thought about it that way, but. . .out of everyone from the first game, even the one's who don't join you, Ash/Kaiden do the least amount to help.
It's a little insulting how they blindly refuse to help you all because of one group you're working with, but not for.

By the way, everything you posted after 'REALLY', I would have been so happy to have had the option to actually say that right to her face.
It's almost poetic.

I always go with the middle option. Shepard is a bit angry and he just says "I accept your offer". It's ok. The first time I played, though, I was so mad that I went with the "you're stupid" option. It was fun.

I know this, I am quite sure that Ash/Kaiden will play a big part in ME3. Besides, no one actually trusts Cerberus rationally anyways.

Nevermind that Shepard only had to work with them because the Council and the Alliance turned their backs on him, and hell, Garrus and Tali rejoined you, and they have FAR more reason not to trust Cerberus. They gave Shepard the benefit of the doubt, they still stood by him.

Ash and Kaiden chose the Alliance over Shepard. They chose to BLAME Shepard for the abductions.

NOT COOL.

Indeed. Any individual could look at Ash's prejudices and see through her crap. But for it to actually happen? Poetic indeed.

Prehaps, but they're also the only group willing to do something for the thousands of disappearing humans.

How is that not cool?  They never blamed Shepard for the abductions...that's absurd.  If I were Ash or Kaidan, I'd trust the Alliance before Cerberus.   Cerberus is the one with the shady history, not the Alliance.

Okay, name 5 non-romantic or overly emotional-laden/emotionally engaging things she did in ME2 that advanced her personality from ME1.

So, name five entirely generic, emotionless, and uninteresting things?

That's. . .not have character development works. . .

Okay first of all, I was trolling the hell out of this thread for the lulz, but I can't help but feel as if you proved my point about her sole role in ME2 being an emotional wreck in need for some Sheplovin. Character development is fine and all, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I remember this idea for a fic I had. Basically Shepard dies in the suicide mission. Afterwards, Tali, blaming him for Shepard's death, teams up with Jack to take down the Illusive Man.

Actually, I think back on Ash and this isnt exactly out of her personality. She had always been a human extremist and disapproved of aliens allowd being on the normandy in the first place. I had completely forgotten about these things till just now and well, it doenst seem so random as it use to have been. Maybe she was looking at  the aliens behind shepard thinking "wtf are those guys doing there again, im not gonna go through with more aliens again".

I would be surprised if we didn't see something with TIM later not. Not in DLC, but more likely in the third game.

Well, they do blame Cerberus, and thus by extension...

I can't get angry at Ash/Kaidan.  As members of the military, the Alliance basically owns them so it's not like they could come with Shep anyway.  Though I will say angry from Kaidan is far less characteristic than anger from Ash, who is a hothead.

Ash/Kaiden calling Shepard out was poor judgement on their part, I do agree on that. But many do not realize that they have no idea what is going on, all they know is Shepard is alive and is associated with a reputed terrorist group who just happen to be interested in isolated colonies, colonies that are disappearing. They are very confused and turn to the only ones they feel are actually trying to help, the Alliance. If you talk to Anderson after Horizon, he does reveal that they even tried defending you upon completion of their reports of Horizon.

They flat out tell Shepard that they think Cerberus is working with the Collectors and that they're using Shepard by tricking him into thinking the Collectors actually work for the Reapers.

And the Alliance is absolutely no better, Cerberus was even PART of the Alliance for a time, and they still could be for all you know. Many in the Alliance's Industrial Naval Complex FUND Cerberus.

And besides, they don't have to trust Cerberus, NOBODY trusts them , not even Jacob, who works for them, but they didn't even give Shepard the benefit of the doubt, despite EVERYTHING he's done, What more could be asked of him?
