You know, if the worst comes to pass, we should take CC's suggestion and form a "worst-case scenario book club." We can then go read a good book together and discuss it to take our minds off the pain.cannedcream wrote...

I know, they really hammer the fact that any death is your fault. And I hate myself for being naive enough to think Jacob was up to the task as a tech specialist. And Mordin... I just don't know what happened.NuclearBuddha wrote...

They flat out tell Shepard that they think Cerberus is working with the Collectors and that they're using Shepard by tricking him into thinking the Collectors actually work for the Reapers.
And the Alliance is absolutely no better, Cerberus was even PART of the Alliance for a time, and they still could be for all you know. Many in the Alliance's Industrial Naval Complex FUND Cerberus.
And besides, they don't have to trust Cerberus, NOBODY trusts them , not even Jacob, who works for them, but they didn't even give Shepard the benefit of the doubt, despite EVERYTHING he's done, What more could be asked of him?
They don't personally blame Shepard for the abductions. If they blame Cerberus that is not the same as blaming Shepard, who is just being 'used' by Cerberus as you state.
If your friend/lover came back from the dead and was working for a known terrorist organization, how would you feel?
If it was MY lover?
You don't want to know what I'd do if it was MY lover. Love is not something I'd throw around so casually. If the person I loved more than any other came back from the dead, terrorist or not, I'd be ecstatic, I'd find out what happened, in detail, and if it was the situation described above, you bet your ass I'd join up with them.
Most soldiers are terrorists anyway, anyone who uses fear as a weapon is, and thats ALL it is. A tactic. Every government has used it at some point, and many do today. It doesn't automatically make them bad. The people who founded the American Revolution could be called terrorists. They certainly used terrorist tactics. Same can be said of snipers in the military and even certain police. If someone I LOVED was working for people who are terrorists with a bad reputation, I'd expect them, I'd TRUST them to have a reason. I'd stand by them no matter what. That's what love is. Standing by someone in hell, knowing you never have to watch your back because someone else is watching it for you, and knowing you're watching theirs. It's being there for someone when it's the hardest, when you have every reason NOT to, you do it anyway, because you trust them.
Sorry... dont mean to go off on a tangeant... but it's something I have strong feelings on...

Ive a question on this, is there any way to get away with not loosing any team mates in the attack, and if so who must you send to each specialty mission to do so. I know the last one is Samara, but who is the first and second?

Legion/Tali/Kasumi for the vents.
Garrus/Miranda for 2nd team leader.
Mordin for escort. (anyone can do it, but it's best to send someone fragile like him or Tali)
Jack/Samara for the biotic shield.
Garrus/Miranda for 2nd team leader.
Take whoever you like to the final battle, as long as they're loyal.
However, keep in mind that if you take the strong fighters like Zaeed/Garrus/Grunt, then you risk losing someone weaker (Mordin/Tali/Jack/Kasumi) at the hold-the-line part.
Edit: This assumes everyone is loyal.

That's almost one of the worst choices, since removing Zaeed from the hold-the-line equation compounds the danger to Mordin (or anyone else fragile).Azint wrote...

If you're a Stephen King fan, you could also say that Shepard, Tali, and Garrus are a ka-tet.
Inter-romance is much more acceptable here.
