Thanks, listening to old presidential speeches about war right now for some ideas. That one excerpt right there is a heavily revamped part of Reagans "A Time for choosing" speech about the cold war. I suggest listening to it, I can picture an admiral giving a speech like that.

For example this amazing piece.
