What's this about grunt? Is it an image? I turned off images because all these animated gifs were slowing down my phone. (Android 2.2 finally animates gifs!)

It's just Grunt smiling and breaking the fourth wall, real creepy.

Also, damn you and your Android 2.2, still stuck on WinMo 6.5.5 here, though there's been some serious progress in porting Linux (and afterwards, Android) to the HD2...

Actually the gifs aren't too bad. Main reason I turned off images was for network speed. This car place doesn't have wifi, and this thread entails lots of refreshing.

I wouldn't mind opera mobile through.

From what I could tell, on other QSD8x50 devices, the default Android browser's faster in most aspects.
Though it lacks two of it's most awesome features: "Turning on" flash elements (they load seperately, and are indicated by a grey area with a play button at the center) and instant full-screen by double tapping.
But then again, it's Flash Lite, which means no Action Script 3.0. Which means no proper Youtube video watching. (Aside from embedded ones and ones still using the old player)

But then again, you get such a wide variety of browsers to choose from, there's probably one (or one coming soon) that can do that. (For me, it's Opera Mobile 10/9.7 for regular browsing, Opera Mini 5 if I don't have 3G and Skyfire 1.5 if I want to watch a Flash 10 video reaaaally slowly)

Tali, can't you make me a proper browser?

(But then again, the HD2 was the best option for a while)
And judging from this progress, I'm getting Android soon enough, as long as it's a while before the 22nd of November this year, when I'll probably get a new phone.

By the way, does anyone have decent explanation or Codex article on how the extranet works?
