Seriously, if even a single piece of dialogue I did was made even the slightest mention of, I would freak.

I'm just saying. I've seen stuff here that were better than the actual dialogue in the game, or a good alternative. Most of them involving Shep showing at least some emotions.

Amusingly I was having a discussion with a non-sci friendly friend about characterization and I sent her the 'ME2 Shepard is still a Jerk' youtube video and then a few of the more 'paragon' options.



She said it was like Jethro Gibbs from NCIS without any emotional inflection.

It'd be a twist beyond belief though. If they give us a good explanation, I'd love it.

And if quarians turn out to be purple for reasons explained in my blog, I'm gonna gloat for a while too. :happy:

But yeah, Bioware should seriously be taking notes, some great concepts over here. (Primal Tali and the like)

Okay, I would think that rape would be pretty much a non-issue with quarians all things considered. Not if you're concerned about everyone living through it.

Not rape, both of them might've been drunk, had a long relationship beforehand, and Shala might've had a thing for Rael. Rael was just into DEM HIPS.
It results in Rael using his drunk admiral powers to get a clean room, sexeh tiem, waking up to ohgodwejusthadsex.
(Obviously, considering sexeh tiem doesn't happen that often between quarians, they didn't use a condom, and abortus wouldn't exactly be standard procedure either without people beginning to wonder how Shala got pregnant in the first place)

Hence, because Tali's "fake" mom was infertile or just really in love with Rael (example), they kept it a secret, Rael forwards Shala's position as an admiral, she doesn't want to harm Rael's position as an admiral by admitting the truth as they're friends anyway and it's both their faults. They don't tell Tali for her sake and the big family that is the quarian race just got itself a(nother) horrible secret.

Also any violation of quarians will result in Rage Shepard. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.
