I've only ever had Garrus say that line. Except Garrus refers to Shepard as "Commander". Will try it next time.

Any fandom has eccentrics, but sterotyping an entire group, especially one that is noticably large based on what is shown by few vocal zealots is an idiotic thing to do. And to actually answer your question; yes, I am quite sure some people take things far, but from what I've seen, that is typical of a fanbase, weird people will do that. And they have nothing on Japanese fandom.

I **** you not, this person actually came to school with the headband and everything. And in class, they would make hand motions, over, and over, and over again. And they talked to themselves.

I'm not making this up. I had to sit NEXT to him.

But really, being Talimancer and all, I still wouldn`t dress in Enviromental suit.

But you WOULD go to school in N7 Armor.

Atleast armor would protect you from the bullies

I typcially dislike the sweet, sassy girl, but Tali is the one exception. I don't know why either, I guess she just clicks with me more than any of the others would. Tali just hit all the right notes for me.

It's because she's sweet and sassy, but not because she's overly optimistic or naive. She's had a difficult life, she's a second class citizen, and can bring down a krogan by herself.

But none of that gets to her, she maintains her personality, which is to be kind and helpful.

Which is why I like her more than Ash or Liara. Liara let the world turn her crazy. And Ash was willing to turn her back on you.

Garrus and Tali are immovable.

I find Garrus and Tali to be the best written characters in the series thus far. The sheer amount of appeal they have adds to why I like them, but what they do in the story shows what great characters they are. They have been with Shepard for a while now, through two campaigns against such a menacing force, yet they still remain consistent and believable. I do not think of Garrus as a turian, or Tali as a quarian, they are just Garrus and Tali, not really aliens.

That kind of humanism makes them seem more real than the actual human characters.

I think it's as much that it somehow feels inconcievable to hurt her or let her down, as it is that you like her somehow. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's how I feel.
