Plenty can be speculated, I'd say all those guys are Tali freaks. They go on to talk about how they design a sexy alien. All pretty interesting stuff I never listened to even after 5 months.

As Jone's pointed out, it's poetic and tragic that the race who are stuck inside suits behind masks and are also misjudged and mistreated in the galaxy are also beautiful. We could be wrong, but if you reveal that the quarians are beautiful, then you feel a sadder, more emotional connection to them and their story.

Nobody would care that the quarians are behind masks if they were ugly. You reveal that they're attractive, and everyone will be like

I don't care either way. I would actually prefer a more "normal" i.e. slightly more homely looking Tali because she doesn't need to be beautiful, she's a incredible character all around. But the truth is what you already said, they won't "disappoint us" as in apparently the large majority of fans who are expecting Kate Beckinsale.

That's probably what we'll get, though. Can't really complain if you're in my shoes.
