Following this reasoning, the Admiralty board will turn into a wreck if she doesn't cooperate in ME3 and we have to put her down.

It'll be done when it's done.

On the one hand, knowing what Jones and I are going to put her through, I want to paragon her.
On the other hand, I want her to be immovable. Shepard can't always have his way.
We'll see.
Why didn't anyone think of this sooner?Lividity Jones wrote...

The dark day when ULB finds no purchase at all. What a moral dilemma.

The equivelant of a father who is never home for the family, working for the sake of his family.

Remember, he doesn't have the knowledge about the Heretics vs. True geth or the fact that the geth aren't really that hostile. (Which we have acquired through Legion)
Unfortunately, the only safe solution would be Rael and Daro's, as they can still do it from the safety of their "homes" (Granted, Rael messed up, but if Daro's plan actually worked, and she wasn't so malevolent, it could be the best solution for reclaiming Rannoch) rather than toss inferior ships at a far larger and more capable fleet or sit back and watch while the live ships start to fail.
