War, War never changes.

As for the morning war I think it might actually be akin to the Animatrix Cartoon.

The death of humanity is such an intriguing concept to me.

I just can't see us dying off slowly, or allowing machines to win.  Earth would burn before that happened.

If you watch the full version you see massive use of Nuclear weapons but to little effect. (the writers ignored the emp generated by any High Yield wmd). In the end when the armies of the world faced the foe they fell before it due to being out numbered and facing an enemy that could take more punishment then was ever faced. After the fall the world leaders gave up, and in the end died at the sighing of the treaty.

Hah, can see him making human cultural references, and non of the marines getting it, and him getting frustrated.

Remember that Gunnery Chief on the Citadel?

In ME3, have R. Lee yelling at him.  :o

Yeah... Airbursting Nukes would solve that problem.  EMP as you said, and all.  It would also destroy the enviroment.

But Humanity still wins the war.

It would be like sex, but without all the nonesense and sweet talk.

Amazing male voices that are excuses themselvs just to be featured in any work:
-Ron Perlman
-Morgan Freeman
-Keith Davids
-Mark Hamill
-Liam Neeson
-Kevin Conroy
-Stephen Fry
-David Hyde Pierce
-Hugh Laurie

R. Lee: Qwib-Qwib?! Only suit wetters and politicians come from the Qwib-Qwib! And you don't look like a politician to me so that kind of narrows it down!

Actually sending one into HIgh Orbit and setting it off will negate the effect of the Radiation however the emp will effect every thing in that hemisphere.

Infact it was covered on Future weapons. I think they said at an altitude of 300 miles one Nuke can emp the whole of North America (yes that includes Canada) and most of Central America.

And now I have learned something today.

The idea of a single EMP hitting all of North America is scary.  *Starts Wrapping Tinfoil Around Toaster*

Leto Station, turian make. A repurposed surveillance installation now utilized by the Blue Suns. It was once used as an administrative facility, for the function of detecting any inbound object in space. The equipment that gave it utility has long since rendered obsolete, but it housed a massive cluster of hangers all built around the station as a ring. The station itself is a bulky, tower-like construction with bulks of antennae on both ends. Leto Station was also a small-time producer of arms, those sold throughout the Terminus.

It stood in space with small convoys surrounding it. The Blue Suns were trafficking unregistered ships through the Terminus to the Traverse. The equivalent of border crossing. The Blue Suns themselves made a profit for servicing these ships and laboring any crewmember for their factories. Illegal vessels in Citadel territory, industrializing for a mercenary group, the sort of cases that would upset any law-enforcement.

Shepard was inbound.

The borrowed freighter made a pass around the station, passing several small convoys on opposite sides of the ring. The unnamed frieighter floated through the typical hangar forcefield, there it gently docked in the spacious hangar. Several crates were stacked along the walls, and a catwalk hung from the ceiling. Ship parts, terminals, and tools were scattered all over the floor. Everything was grimy, weathered, used. The station was old, but sturdy.

The foreman clicked over the radio that the ship made it and the hangar doors sealed. Along with several mechanics, a small brigade of Blue Suns troops, less then ten, stood at arms to greet the ship. Humans, turians, batarians, they all stood around the door of the freighter’s cargo hold. Every merc lazily carried his assault rifle; none were even prepared for what was behind the cargo bay doors.

The freighter’s cargo bay doors opened with a rattle. The inside was completely dark. Confused, several of the workers and guards called out for the crew to no response. Several tried to work their omni-tool to activate the light to no success. One mechanic stepped inside and activated his omni-tool’s flashlight to investigate. He stepped into the darkness alone to survey the inside; the clutter of objects from inside obscured the view for the rest who stood at the door. The man made a yelp, his cry was cut, along with his neck. Two of the mercs hurried into the hold shouting, a knife in the dark silenced one. The other met a bogeyman in the dark, his scream was loud and so was his skull when it was cracked against a wall. The metal bang being the last thing to test them, the remaining staff fired into the dark. It was not until three remained when they realized something else was firing back. Before they even managed to take proper cover, they each took a Viper round to the head.

The gunfire was enough to alert the rest of the station.

"Tali, hack their comms, cut the cameras and shut down any alarms." Shepard was running through the motions in his head. There were no flaws, there was no hesitation. This station was going to burn.

"On it, Shepard." Tali chimed, and ran a line to her omni-tool, causing lights to flicker as she hacked their power grid, shutting down the systems her captain had specified. After a few scant seconds, she stood up in enthusiastically, not wasting any time. "Done"

Shepard nodded with approval, then turned to his turian comrade. "Garrus, I want you to head down to the reactor core, rig it to blow. I don't want anything left of this station larger than a turian's right nut."

Garrus had to chuckle at that. "Moving, Commander Shepard." He stalked hastily down the loading bay. Halfway to the door, he called over his shoulder, "And you should leave my reproductive organs out of it, Shepard." He hoisted his rifle playfully, mandibles spread wide in a humorous grin. "Mine's bigger."

Shepard was suddenly very aware of the pistol held loosly in his hand.

"Come on Shepard," Tali said playfully. They went the opposite direction of Garrus, straight for the control room. Shipping logs, manifests, any information they could get on exactly what was going on here, who was behind it, and where they lived. That was their objective. Tali carried her shotgun with purpose, obviously looking to put thier previous spat behind them for the time being. Killing a few hundred slavers and blowing up their station would do wonders for his mood, she was sure.

Two security mechs rounded the corner. Shepard and Tali looked at eachother briefly, almost amused.

"Warning, hostiles de-"

Shepard pulled the arm off of one, and was promptly beating it's approximation of a face in with it. Tali had hacked the other, setting it to self destruct. Perfect timing, as two Blue Suns walked out of a room down the hall. Seizing his chance, Shepard grabbed the hacked mech by the leg and tossed it at them, sending searing flames cascading over their armor and over all over their faces. Howling in pain, Shepard put a bullet in each of their knees with cold precision, then continued his determined march to the objective. It was clear what what going through his mind to Tali.

No mercy.
