We all can. We forgive Tali for believing in Genocide, don't we? If she went through with it however...

I'll put a bullet straight through her visor, even though it would kill me to do it.

I pray she listens.

Wow. Thats a little extreme.

The difference is that Tali has already shown herself to be amenable to reason on the subject.

Well that's kind of where we have to stop.

We have absolutely no idea if she would be open to a peaceful return home.

We have nothing to base that on.

I really want an antagonist that lives up to Saren in 3...

The Illusive Man was alright... but it wasn't the same... there was no resolution.

Tall order to fill, really.  Saren was a special combination of strategic and personal capability.  TIM just has the strategic capability.

A TIM boss fight would probably be a little silly, with him climbing into a big mech or something.  Or, he's suddenly revealed to be a combat monster due to his hinted at cybernetics or something.  This route would be kind of intriguing, but since it wouldn't be apparent until the moment, he still wouldn't produce Saren-like anticipation of the conflict.

I'm personally VERY fond of the idea of the Council sending a Spectre to bring Shepard in. Role reversal. Now Shepard is in Saren's shoes, and he has to outwit someone who thinks he's doing the right thing, but it's all backwards.

Also, the spectre will be voiced by Ron Perlman.

I think that warrants forgiveness, considering the fact that she is bound to fail.

That's fair.  I pitied Saren, too.  His despair forced him to contemplate a course of action where his people becoming like the Collectors was the reward.

TIM was just that high position guy who gives you crap assignements. Even if I didn't like him at all, he was never so theatening as Saren was. I felt Saren's power. His will and his motivations. TIM is just a cardboard cut-out for me. I couldn't really understand his thoughts, therefor, I never really cared.

Liara is at a loss for words with Shepard after confronting Matriarch Benezia. There is -of course- only one solution to this problem.

Oh.  Yeah, I took Liara with me to kill her mother.

One of the many ways I didn't leave that campsite in better condition than I found it, so to speak.

The Legion confrontation.

Tali is willing to see reason. She's even willing to share with them, what little she can.

If Daro stands in the way of peace for the quarians... for Tali...

I have no choice.

This would work.  Though Mr. Perlman wouldn't be strictly necessary.

Who shall this Spectre be, though?  Another turian?  A human?  The Virmire survivor?

Fake edit:  As I typed that last phrase, I felt a chill, like the entirety of the Ash and Kaiden threats walking over my grave.

I think they wrote TIM to be like Xanatos. The master manipulater who lies through a smile.

They forgot the part where Xanatos is a badass who also happens to take the hands on approach. If they had gone more of that route, things could have gotten interesting.

Oh.

I thought you meant you'd put a bullet into Tali... if she was deadset on commiting genocide against the geth.

I'd be interested in meeting any other Spectre. I've just seen Nihlus and Saren. And they lasted long...

The Virmire Survivor would be PERFECT.

Though, Ron Perlman Turian would be some epic ****.

No, it should probably be Ron Perlman.  He needs to just play someone and be cool as hell while doing it.

It would be even more awesome (assuming that this guy will be voiced by Perlman) if you could later convince this Spectre to your case and have him join your squad as a selectable member.

But Virmire survivor would be so epic, brings a certain plot twist to it too.

Agreed. That would be seven different kinds of epic.

Councillor Velarn: We are sending you out into the Traverse. Shepard is a fugitive. You are ordered to use any means necessary to bring him in.

Mother****ing Ron Perlman Turian Spectre: I'll find him.

We never see TIM "unguarded" in his behavior.  The cutscenes in ME1 showed Saren to be an f-ing animal, even to Benezia.

Shepard being hunted by his possible former lover?

I don't know... that could get hard to write....

Then again... Horiizon...
