Earlier today I posted the third installment to 'Beneath the Veil', my ongoing fanfiction that explores quarian society, relationships, and their envirosuits.  Any and all comments posted on FF.net, or here, are appreciated.  I love to hear from those who read it.

I also read it and the previous chapter.  I liked it.  Thought it was written well.

There are now 3 (of 4) parts.  Am I just reading the highlighted wrong?

*Mordin types at his research terminal, moving at the speed only a model scientist salarian can. The door to his lab opens with a quiet hiss. Tali enters, her hands already wringing together furiously.*

Mordin: Tali'Zorah. How can I help?

Tali: Umm... I-I... Well... I need something specific, if you have it.

*Mordin notes the obvious anxiety in her voice. He moves around his terminal.*

Mordin: Of course. Will help to the best of my ability.

*Tali looks from side to side before her omni-tool flares to life.*

Tali: I need individual doses of emphayltrole, czentropine and lataanoxime.

*Mordin's hand comes to his chin.*

Mordin: Powerful antibiotics. Unlikely for use in combat. Effective for preventing infection from prolonged exposure. Not for combat. Other intentions? Prolonged time outside of suit? Implied intimacy. Shepard.

*Tali's head snaps up.*

Tali: I... What?

Mordin: Yourself and Shepard. Logical. Extensive history. Likely to become intimate. Hypothesized as much. However, would not recommend particular antibiotics. Should not trust everything read on extranet. Will see what research I can do. Diagrams and instructional vids. Come back and show me whatever else you find. Will give best opinion.

Tali: I... Thank you, Mordin.

Mordin: Not necessary. Want to help.

Read one fan fic, but now my eyes are blurry, guess I should be getting ready to hit the hay. Though will likely read though all four when the forth is posted. I might even have my fan fic up on the boards tomorrow, though hopefully it doesn't get burried under the flood of Fan fics this week. Didn't get many views, or comments on Battle of Acan which is in my sig.

Eh...I like to think he went out with some class.  "Here's a note, I'm dead, but it was a fun ride.  Didn't die holding the line, at the very least."

If you read Chapter 3 of Beneath the Veil, you may notice I changed her bolts abit.  Now they match her skin color.

Al-Jilani: *Talking Quickly, Before Shepard can recover* Humanity wants to know, Legion, how you feel about killing.  You have fought numerous organic enemies.  What is it like to pull the trigger?  What do you feel as they die?

*Legion remains silent for awhile, his headflaps fluttering slowly*

Al-Jilani: Well?  What do feel as you take another life?

Legion: ...Recoil.

True.  I can totally believe that he would know he is about to die.  Like he is standing there, and all of a sudden he thinks to himself: "And my heart just went arrhythmic.  Better prepare to die."
