[Someone With Mass]

Watched the part where she talks with the captain of the Rayya after getting exiled. He's high on my ****list now.

[Titanium Man]

Kar'Danna: I can't believe you did this, Tali.

Tali: It's over, Captain.  Let it go.

Kar'Danna: The crew of the Rayya taught you better than this, Tali'Zorah.  Get off my ship.

Shepard: Wait until we've left before you start badmouthing my crew.

Tali: Shepard-

Kar'Danna: She's a traitor, Shepard.  And I can only assume she picked it up from you and your crew.

Shepard: Get on the shuttle, Tali.

(As Tali walks away, Shepard folds his hands behind his back.)

Shepard: What did you say to me?

Kar'Danna: You heard me.  This never would have happened if Tali'Zorah had approached this more intelligently.  Maybe she would have learned that if she spent part of her Pilgrimage on a better ship.

(Shepard steps in very close to Kar'Danna.  His helmet is almost touching the quarian's visor.)

Shepard: When you insult my ship, you insult my crew.  When you insult my crew - Tali included - you insult me.  And if I hear you insult anyone on my crew one more time, I will ram my shoe so far up your ass that, whenever your grandchildren eat nutrient paste, the only thing they'll taste is my boot.  Am I clear?

(The staredown continues for a few brief moments.)

Kar'Danna: ...I'm clear.

(Shepard steps away, keeps his glare fixed on Kar'Danna for a brief second before turning away and walking back to his shuttle.  Tali and Garrus are already seated.  Shepard avoids looking at them as he takes his seat.)

Tali: What did you tell him, Shepard?

Shepard: It's not important.  (He bangs on the shuttle wall.)  Let's go.

As for Shala...

She can go suck on the business end of a flamethrower for all I care. She was just like Rael, only in reverse. Didn't give a damn about what Tali wanted, it was all about what she wanted. She was content to tear apart the fleet, against Tali's wishes even.

Gerrel was a hypocrit. Saying he wanted to help Tali, when in truth, he just wanted to cover up the experiments.

Don't even get me started on Korris and Rael...

As for Xen, she's bat **** insane. I don't think I need to go into detail about her. Oddly enough though... she's the only one of the bunch who is actually honest about anything. I like that.

Damn, thats a lot of hate in one post.

Seconded. I don't get the hate. Shala doesn't seem to get just exactly how much Shepard means to Tali, so as far as she can see, Tali - you know, kinda like every other quarian ever - only has the Fleet. Plus, she also doesn't know what Rael was doing. As far as she could see, keeping Tali with the Fleet would've been the best thing for her: it's where her home and family is -supposed- to be.

You know, if her living friends inside the fleet after her pilgrimage didn't consist entirely of Kal'Reegar.

If Shala is anything like Rael, she's at least multitudes better than him if only because she makes Tali very aware that she cares.

I don't care what Shala's reasons were. She didn't even tell Tali about her father being dead... and for what? So she could sound surprised? Would that REALLY have helped in the long run? It didn't, did it?



Shala is no better than Rael, doing whatever she wants simply because she thinks she's right, with no consideration for anyone else's feelings, including Tali's.



As sorry, and as sick, as it makes me to say it, the only admiral that makes any sense to me is the crazy one. At least she is completely honest with you. Everyone else is dicking around behind politics. I might not agree with Xen, but she's the only one who actually seems focused on doing her job.

Sad as it makes me to say it... she might be the only politician in the ME universe I like... aside from Anderson. It's a shame she's out of her god damn mind.



While I agree with Korris's beliefs, the fact that he's a slimey little weasel... willing to sacrifice someone who I'm sure has sacrificed a great deal more for the fleet than he EVER will, makes me want to shoot him regardless.

exactly I don't normally tell people to stop saying what they mean about a person I listen to it and try find an agrument to show they may not !00% right and I know Shala is not perfect  but I know she means well.

In fact, they're all welcome aboard the Normandy.

Except for Valley Girl Quarian. That girl ain't goin' nowhere until she gets her love life sorted out.

They're good, but not so important.

Wow its good to see yall still going and going strong... and its good to be back. Sorry i have not be around for the all the fun and games but life and work kinda got in the way What i have been doing is reading ME fan fiction and i have read some really, really good ones and i have read some bad ones where the characters are completely represented.



so what is your biggest gripe about how writers represent tali character?
