Exactly. Most candies (sugar-based, not chocolate) would be perfectly edible to dextro-based life-forms as long as there's nothing strange in it that would contain amino acids (I'm not sure if there's any that are used as preservatives). That's just one example.

If I recall my chem and conversations with my pharm major friend your only issue would be some presevatives and the occasionally coloring agent.

Yeah, that's what I wasn't sure about. I was just looking it up and it looks like you're correct.

Nutrient paste injected through tubes. Solid food would be a rarity eaten in clean rooms.
