That's his only line during the entire scene. I can forgive him. Besides, Tali is in the spotlight, not him.

I absolutely hate that line. But you know what? Tali just came up to his quarters. I wouldn't be able to get anything more than "uuuuhuhuh..." out.

why couldn't it have gone something like:

Tali: I was going to bring music but I didn't know what you'd like, and  Im ramblining like an idiot.

Shepard: Tali its ok, all we need is each other.

 or something similar to that would have been infinitely better than "come hear"
