We just saw a whole lot of potential there and felt we should step up.

It's interesting. It all started with a discussion about what could make Xen the way she is, what she would have brought back as a pilgrimage gift, what her goals and beliefs are, and it snowballed. I decided I wanted on, offered to do some art, help with the writing, and boom. Here we are.

It's nice to write about someone other than Garrus or Tali.

You just have to set a goal for yourself.

Take whatever idea you have and figure out what you want to convey to the audience.

If you want it bad enough, inspiration will come on it's own.

From there, it's just following your gut. What makes the best drama. What this character would say here. That sort of thing.

It helps having a partner. ALL of Jones and I's discussions are kept in one place, the Message Box here. If we want to go back and referance, we can do that. We're also very involved. We plan ahead, writing down important points and such. We also are very hands on. He writes something, I go back and add or take away, and he's welcome to do the same for me. Beyond that, it's a project we are both VERY passionate about. Don't need more than that.
