And yes, there are quite a few pics I really don't like, these definitely aren't part of that line-up. (Original, alien, yet human)

This one is somehow stranger than v2.  It's tough to puzzle out what they were thinking.

Well... I don't know...

We kind of had it together... I don't know what it was... someone, one of us maybe, began talking about Xen. We started listing things we thought could be how she ended up the way she is... and it snowballed...

I really don't think I could describe it as anything but OURS. I certainly couldn't have come up with all of this on my own.

Agreed.

First row, fourth from the left in the asari concept was the closest I got to being satisfied, until Buddha pointed out the ear issue.

I can go off and explain thoroghly in detail about my problems with it as I have already done repeatedly in the past, but this is the concise version; too human-looking.

Same, I don't expect Tali to look like those pics, and I haven't had a perfect one just yet (heck, I disapprove of every purple or elvish Tali, so that cuts it down by 90%).
Doesn't mean I can't appreciate artistic talent.
