No one is really suggesting that the romance overshadow the rest of the game though. The romances are still important to the fans. We want our just due after waiting for so long for the romance to even be possible (ME1-ME2) and for the romance conclusion (ME2-ME3).

Council knows Reapers exist, they have to keep up appearances to not cause panic. In ME3 Reapers will be eminent and Council will "light the signal fires" and get the support the council races.

On the Presidium in ME2 someone said if you decline the Council's offer to make you a spectre,  Tali tells you "we have to work together Shepard", so I need to save the council again and see what's up. Gotta do what Tali says afterall, eh?

The meeting was in private they can say what they want, they dont mind saying shep is with cerberus.

Maybe they have to keep the information secret from Anderson or Cerberus themselves.

My comment may have come off as Dick-ish, and that wasn't my intention. Sorry. Really, I just meant to say that writing Erotica in FF is tricky if you don't have a talent for words. I understand that FF is supposed to be fun unless the Author is trying to go for a serious tone, much as you have done in alot of your own Fiction. Thankfully, you have a great natural talent for Writing, one I wish I had. But, in regards to Sex in FF, we've had more than a few Horrifying examples of when FF writers try to do Sex, but it just comes out gross or cheap. I don't mind Sex or Erotica, as long as it's done with quality. If you or say Sergio decided to put in a Love Scene in either of your works it would no doubt come out well (no pun intended). Sadly, that's not the case for alot of FF nine times out of ten.
Case in point, the last Sex FF linked not too long ago...

Gonna have to disagree, master theives have to be well... masters at techalogical hacking and sabotoge etc. During the period of time they are in at least, where everything is run purely off technology and just just brute force, I mean, it seems like she is just as good as the others from her loyalty quest alone.

I sent Thane through the vents and he died. I expected him to be better considering. But really, you're right. It's weird that Thane isn't really good at anything at all in the suicide mission. He can escort the crew back to the ship, but any loyal squad mate can.

I imagine they don't want Shepard to get the impression that the Council still thinks the Reapers are real or even thinks that the public should know, or even Shepard should know. They're being stubborn and likely hiding something. but really, it's a plot element. The game would be vastly different, it seems, if the Council actually helped Shepard against the Reapers.

This is exactly why I rarely make an attempt for it. I'm unsatisfied with my most basic fics. How could I possibly write erotica that meets my standards?

I did the same thing, matter of fact I sent Thane for the vent mission every time and figured, wtf if an expert assassin dies from an infultration mission anybody I send at it will so why bother changing it up? I never use the guy anyways.
