Pretty much every character we see is only a snapshot of who they've been, who they are. So you only get out of the game what you put into it.

We probably agree age is the most trivial of details when drawing a more detailed account of a character. So the fact that you say Tali is 24 and I saw she's 20 is meaningless. Why do you say she's 24? I make the assumption it's because that's what the website says. Why do I say she's 20? Like I said, she reminds me of some people I know in real life who are 20.

Actually, they're something like 27 years old now, but when I knew them, when I compare Tali to them, they were 20.

I do say that she's 24 based on the website, simply because that's the best thing to determine for me.  In this situation it seems to me like asking a parent how old the kid is.  It won't be 100% accurate, (the parent could lie, or just be wrong,) but you will get the right answer a lot more than by trying to guess from the 3 conversations you have over a 3 month period.  Guessing ages is incredibly difficult to do reliably.

Thane didn't even bring up his wife during the entire romance! It's like he's totally forgotten about her and moved onto me. Most of the time, trying to forget about someone you've lost or broken-up with is a good thing, but considering that Thane will NEVER forget her, I also feel as if I'm his wife's replacement.

Thane's wife I think is a common turnoff for a lot of people with Thane's romance, particularly since that awful "I want you" choice comes directly after Thane was discussing his dead wife with female Shepard. Even if Shepard doesn't actually say that, just seeing it on the screen like that made me .

But I actually didn't take a Thane/Shepard romance as being disrespectful to Thane's wife. If a female Shepard cuts off the romance before the cabin scene, Thane respects her wishes, but does say it's possible for one person to love more than one person in a lifetime. Which is very true. A person who marries again after having lost a previous love isn't going to love their new partner less.

Oh, and Thane's memory flashbacks. That turns off some people, too.

Yeah, there's a Tali/Kaidan elevator conversation where Tali mentions that biotic quarians are "rare," implying that they do exist.

It's extremely rare, as it takes up resources. I'm sure quarians who save up for implants on pilgrimages could use that as a pilgrimage gift. It's extremely risky, and it shows devotion to the fleet. Quarian biotics would be VERY valuable to the Marines.
