Hey. Just thought I'd mention that my second entry to my new fan fic series is up! I've introduced several new characters including a Biotic Quarian, Kaila'Ila nar Neema. I've included 3 codex entries for the prologue and 6 codex entries for chapter 1 to expand upon the universe.

Prologue
Chapter 1: Awakened Potential

I don't mean to sound rude, but can quarians even get biotics?

They can have Biotics. The first reference to the topic was in Mass Effect 1. Ride with Kaidan and Tali in the elevator and Kaidan will ask if there are any Quarian Biotics. Tali will say that they're very rare since a pregnant mother needs to be exposed to Eezo dust. So I'm guessing at the time of the Migrant Fleet there are only a few. I'm sure there are more now, but still are rare, hence why there are no Quarian biotic trainers.

I don't know. That seems very risky for someone who's about to become/is an admiral. It could hurt her image really bad if someone finds out about it.

I wasn't just talking about biotics... immuno booster injections... dangerous and highly experimental cybernetics... the list goes on...

It's interesting... because it shows a detachment from her own body, letting go completely of normalcy. It shows a loss of respect for life, even her own... provided it can be used...

What exactly would be the point? She is not a soldier. The fact that she brings up the toy she experimented gives me the impression that she would rather manipulate others rather than causing harm to herself. If you ask me, she would largely see biotic experimentation on herself as useless - just as she dismissed Rael's experiments as foolish. She is no use to the Quarian people dead - and I cannot imagine that biotics experimentation on herself would be safe.

She's an admiral, so I don't know what use biotics would have for her.

The admiral who refuses test subjects for her experimentation, instead using herself? She'd be seen as a hero. Putting herself in direct danger in the hopes of giving something worthwhile to the people... a cure for their immune systems... ways to live outside the suit... cybernetics that could make them stronger and more capable of defending themselves...

You could really go off and do some interesting things...

I listed other things besides biotics. It would be more symbolic. Shows her utter disregard for life and morality. Given what I know of our story, it would make sense.

Just an interesting idea to toy with... nothing I'm committed to.
