I sent Thane through the vents and he died. I expected him to be better considering. But really, you're right. It's weird that Thane isn't really good at anything at all in the suicide mission. He can escort the crew back to the ship, but any loyal squad mate can.

If they believed Shepard after he first told them about the Reapers, you'd think everyone would be informed.
Some people have suggested putting Shepard on trial or having the Council go after him.Then it would seem like all of the Citadel and Illium and major cities would be in an uproar. Instead we have to have this oblivious state of mind amongst the people. It makes for a better story. Tali, Garrus, and Wrex trusting you which would make them "rogue" is more interesting than "oh you're right, you do everything right".

True. I wish there was another "specialist" selection, like someone to snipe Harbinger (and at least chop down his barrier at little or something) every time he pops up. Then Thane or Legion or one of the other sniper-users could shine.CamoBadger wrote...

You're not assassinating anyone, so Thane is just a good squaddie. I take Tali and Thane on the suicide mission and it's quite golden. Tali and Garrus is also good.

I think samara will be a LI for ME3, she says no but Kasumi comments on what happened, Kasumi also comments about other LIs, put 2 and 2 together, she may not be a LI now but I think ME3 she will.NuclearBuddha wrote...
