I don't think Xen is interested in symbolism. She's interested in results. People herself in danger for symbolism, IMO, would be what she would consider foolish and idealistic.

That...didn't come out right....

I figured out how the kill works, too.  After some fighting, Daro swings her knife in low.  Shepard knocks it back, slams his own into her side.  Then he yanks out HER knife and drives it into the side of her neck.  KILLING SPREE.

It took me a few minutes to write that post.  Originally, I was going to say something A LOT less... classy.  But after thinking about it, I took the high road.
