 Mordin

He agrees with Vader.

Already took Mordin into account. ~_^ Still, there are far, far, far to many variables even for a genius and model salarian scientist to account for. It would be like working on the genophage, from scratch, all on his own.

Too many variables.

EDIT: T.o.P Tali!

This is true.  At least it is a civil discussion.  Doesn't fill me with squick (unlike some reactions I have seen to the idea), it just doesn't seem viable.  Would it be cool?  Possibly.

To each his or her own.

@Kikai:  Hence the carrying to term comment.  Tali would also likely reqquire extensive genetic re-write to make it work.

I'm against anything that involves Tali getting unnecessarily probed, experimented on or something that might risk altering her in any way.

I just don't like the image of Tali with needles and/or tubes in every kind of hole there is.

The image of Tali in a similar situation as David from Overlord is...

Disconcerting...

Oh thank god, I wasn't the only person to get that mental image from that.

Well if you think about it Mass she already does. How do you think she gets all those Antibiotics and waste removal. She's already probed and stuck. She probably has needles in every section of her body. Especially with the seal breach issues.

It does get a little disconcerting at times :?

But then stuff like this happens and makes it all worth it:

The way Mordin cures the plague if you take along a non human team member on Omega (a few buttons on his omni tool,) makes me think that there is some kind of technological advancement in the ME universe that makes that kind of thing obsolete.  The quarians are technological geniuses, and have been wearing these suits for 3 centuries, I imagine they made them as comfortable as possible relatively early on.

Rune moving with needles inside you isn't that hard. and it'd work fine in a body hugging suit. You'd be surprised how well you can move when your medic puts an IV in well enough and tapes it all down right. It's not really that much of a hindrance and you get used to it fairly quickly.

Read Phil's post. He says same thing as me but actually uses ingame to back it up.

You can't just download a cure into someone.

Game limitation. Easier to do that than make an injection animation.

I think it has something to do with cybernetics similar to the ones Shepard can get.

This. We already have more comfortable methods for administering drugs than using needles.

As I think about Tali and children, why not create the child in a test tube? Then, grow the child in a tank. Clearly the technology exists, since we see it used with Grunt.

Tali avoids tubes, Tali and Shepard have a biological child, and it's all good.

This is actually very true. If it's done well, it's not going to accidentally come out. I've had enough IVs that I can usually tell how much activity I'm allotted by how well it is secured :P
