As I think about Tali and children, why not create the child in a test tube? Then, grow the child in a tank. Clearly the technology exists, since we see it used with Grunt.

Tali avoids tubes, Tali and Shepard have a biological child, and it's all good.

There's the chirality issue and the fact they are a completely different species.

No genetic engineering would make that work.

Besides, would you want it to? That kid would be alone. The only one of his or her kind.

No.

Adoption. End of discussion.

The way Mordin cures the plague if you take along a non human team member on Omega (a few buttons on his omni tool,) makes me think that there is some kind of technological advancement in the ME universe that makes that kind of thing obsolete.  The quarians are technological geniuses, and have been wearing these suits for 3 centuries, I imagine they made them as comfortable as possible relatively early on.

You can't just download a cure into someone.

Game limitation. Easier to do that than make an injection animation.

Technology isn't something that I'm going to willingly rule out as impossible.  Our technological growth over the last 200 years has been incredible.  Its also exponential.  There should be even more growth the next 200 years, and there are more races around in the ME universe to help spur technology on as well.  Just because something is inconceivable to us sitting here now, doesn't mean it will be later.  A person in 1800 would find the idea of people discussing a video game on an internet forum as rather outlandish after all.

Obviously Bioware can't go around detailing all of these advancements that could come across as impossible, but it doesn't mean they aren't there.  I see the quarian suits as a hive of ridiculous engineering that we couldn't imagine today.

By all means, have at it.

I realize I was getting a little bare bones by the second half.

The whole thing could use work.

Looking forward to what you have in mind.

Makes it much easier to use in battle too. Would be very annoying if I had to run to a downed teammate with a med-pack and start to do the standard medical treatment for a gunshot wound every time.

I'm sorry I don't really buy into that nick. Technology may have gotten better but you aren't going to get around the fact that fluids transfer better when there is a needle going into a vein.

Tali is plugged in like David under that suit.

Just let that thought sit with you for a bit.

While you deal with that psychological trauma, I will be writng.

Rune moving with needles inside you isn't that hard. and it'd work fine in a body hugging suit. You'd be surprised how well you can move when your medic puts an IV in well enough and tapes it all down right. It's not really that much of a hindrance and you get used to it fairly quickly.

Actually, I would argue needles are largely unnecessary, on the body.  I am guessing the tubes and such on the helmet would actually take care ot the antibiotics and such, for the blood stream.  The topical would likely be a medigel like spray.  I don't think the suits need to be as invasive as *coughredtracer7* theorizes.
