I don't quite understand why you all have a severe hang-up over the fact that there might be lots of tubes and such under there. Hell, she probably even has cybernetic interfaces for some things. It's not that weird.

Tali is plugged in like David under that suit.

Just let that thought sit with you for a bit.

While you deal with that psychological trauma, I will be writng.

Enjoy the horror. ;)

One minute of kissing. One hour and about 40 minutes to get the suit off. And the rest is history.Image IPB

Relax.

Right. I'll let you know when I'm done.

I still have art to do too...

She does. Quarians receive cybernetics to help them on their pilgrimages.

That's not the part that bothers me.

It's the pain.

Try and imagine how that must feel.

Have you ever had an IV? It doesn't really hurt other than when you first insert it and even then it's sort of like a little bug-bite and goes away immediately.

I'm with Rip here. I love Tali as much as the rest of you but I'm firmly believing in the idea that she is rigged into more tubes than you can imagine. And let's say I'm wrong about the needles. There is still the problem of waste removal.

There's kind of a difference between an IV and what Rip is proposing.

Agreed. The suit SHOULD be like that. It should be tragic.

Why would it be painful? Maybe if something is being connected or unconnected.

And I bet she's used to the pain. Comes with being a quarian. Adapt and learn.

In our society, there is a negative connotation to being hooked up to tubes and machines.  We associate it with being sick and unhealthy, and the person being in pain.  Therefore, people who sympathize with the quarian's situation like me will look to alleviate those feelings of pain in some way.  The way I see it, while its likely that the quarians require similar treatment, the administration methods are likely different, much more comfortable and efficient than what we use today.

And she doesn't complain. She deals with it.

And it will make it all the better when she never has to put it back on.

Based off of Shepard and Garrus's reactions to their own cybernetics, let alone Saren.  Saren had extensive cybernetics, yet neither the council nor anyone else commented on it.

Humanity, late to the game as they are, is probably is probably one of the only races that doesn't use cybernetics  standardly.

Ehh, I've had a shunt (I think that's what they're called?) and the only part of it that was uncomfortable as all hell was removing the damn thing.

Actually, that's probably more like what she has. Those bastards do NOT come out unless you really want them to.

Except the part where you can't run and jump around in a combat situation with that level of 'tubing'. A body isn't meant to have stuff stuck in it, muchless when its undergoing to level of movement.

300 years of the best technological minds of a technologically advanced species and the best solution you can come up with is technology that any random person today sitting at a computer can come up with?  That seems a lot more outlandish to me than a nicer solution being out there.

The greater the tragedy, the better the feeling when you get some good back into your life.

Rael's death was very tragic, especially since he never showed her love.

Without it though, Shepard wouldn't have hugged her, and may have never shown her HIS love.

Eh the horse isn't dead yet just a little bit maimed. But either way it's what makes Tali who she is. It's all the problems piled up on top of her. Showing her how different she is from everyone else even the other dextro's. Yet she still maintains a positive outlook on things. It's what endears me to her honestly.
