Maybe not enemy dialogue.  Might be interesting if Shep said something like calling out the name of his LI if they fell in combat, though.

I don't think random enemies would know. Shepard isn't all that well known, and the romance with Tali so far as we know is only known on the Normandy. The Citadel ad mentions love interests even if you aren't romancing them.

Shepard is a pretty big hero by ME2.  There's statues built of him, locations named in his honor.  I'd say he's something of a minor celebrity.

Agreed. Even on Insanity (you know, "that difficulty where you have to have Miranda in your squad or you die 100000 times") I have Tali in my squad the whole time and still destroy every level. I need to try it on a class besides the Soldier, but for what it's worth, the fact that I don't have to revive Tali as much as half my squaddies, plus the fact she's my LI, means she's not leaving my squad.

Even without her shotgun and AI Hacking, I don't notice the slightest disadvantage in her combat effectiveness.

Don't forget the "chemistry" aspect, where some NPC's are unpredictable (Zaeed, Miranda) and other's are more stationary (Tali, Garrus). I work better with those guys (and mixed with Thane and Grunt who never seem to die).

Soldier makes that game soooo much easier, try it on Sentinel or Adept, there are sooo many resets from you dieing it is just dumb, you completely rely on your shield and dont even go out of a corner without it being at full. Unlike Soldier where you can just pop adrenaline rush and kill all the enemies in the time it lasts.

I play as an engineer (I imagine that Tali could appreciate someone with similar interests as her, too) and the game is still fun and not frustrating for me. I particularly like incinerate.

I wish at times I was Engineer so I had something other than my allies or smg to take out shield/armor. Things that have no hp give me ALOT of trouble on hardcore atm because of sentinels only having hp damage abilities.

Probably not. I doubt most enemies will know, or care, about your relationship.

Though, I suppose maybe some special enemies may say something.

"Kill the quarian and weaken Shepard's resolve!" 

That'd just compell me more to murder their faces with the wrath of an angry god.

It'd be like that poor turian hitman in ME1 all over again.

That would be a nice touch. I remember in the trailer Shepard calls out Tali's name when she starts falling during the final fight.

This is something that needs to be discussed. It is but one aspect of the fandom, nay every fandom, and one we will have to accept eventually.

Uh, it doesn't need to be discussed. I've looked at the other character threads and they almost never go this route. We can go elsewhere on the internet for smut, this thread doesn't need it.

Well there's always gunna be sexual talk, it's a gaming forum full of guys afterall (Miranda's ass is all over that thread, but understandable) But in depth discussion of erotic fan fiction..Idk, sortof a turnoff. Maybe it can be discussed at the blog's URL?
