Off topic posting was a lot worse earlier than it is now.  I remember when talking about Mass Effect in general was a nice relief from talking about off topic crap like Deadliest Warrior and role play spamming.

I'm not sure I understand the rest of your post though.  Everyone can believe what they want.  I choose to interpret the story a lot happier than others.  I can discuss that, but in the end, no one is going to change the other's mind.  I think most peopel respect that.  If people want the quarians to be more tortured than they appear, that's their business, I disagree, but I'm not going to dismiss other opinions.

I like seeing other people's opinions and perspectives on things. It's interesting and can be fun to talk about or debate over.
