Shepard: Yes. Every single day. It terrifies me. I can fight just about anything, Garrus. I can kill a thresher maw on foot without even breaking a sweat. I go into a battlefield with Tali by my side and I know I can protect her. I know nothing will happen to her. I know I can't fail. But the idea that us being together... The thought of that hurting her... It's the scariest thing in the world.

*Garrus could see his friend's doubt weighing on him.*

Garrus: Do you love her?

*Shepard opens his eyes, turning to Garrus.*

Shepard: I... I don't know...

Garrus: Yes you do.

*Shepard leans back against the wall, a thousand thoughts running through his head before he finally let's it out.*

Shepard: Yes. I do. I love her.

Garrus: Well then, there you go. What could be wrong with that? I've seen the way you look at each other. Loving each other and then acting on it should never have room for doubt. If you love someone, you would do anything for them, regardless of consequence. I might not be much of a romantic, Shepard, but I know that much.

We tried that.

We ended up going on about Rael's parenting, The Geth conundrum, ect. It didn't go anywhere pleasant either.

We simply can not have pleasant conversations here. The only thing we agree on is Tali and how she is romance-able. <3

No, I think it really went wrong when they pushed the geth to their processing capacity, which required them to share data over their network. Data collection became curiosity. They managed to network in such a way as to invite sentience.

From What I remember what Tali said they only share low level programming run time but not Sensory data. So I don't think they would be sharing that kind of data over their network. If they did something broke the norm.

They upload to the geth database, which all of them have access to. I didn't mean on the fly sensory data, but important bits of information picked up along the way that they deem important enough to let everyone else know.

Eh,  I think Cerberus can do alot of good, and there core goal are worthy. They just need more supervision of there projects, be less ruthless, and have better management. Most of the projects that get out of hand seem to be given not boundries and asked to achieve virtually impossible goals in short time frames.

Human dominance of the galaxy is not a worthy goal.

What are you talking about? The conversation was awesome. It was one of the elusive intelligent discussions that the thread chances upon. Some of the things people say here are way too TMI. I get that someone may like Xen (in a certain way), but we don't need to be constantly reminded of it. It does not breed intelligent conversations, it just furthers the stereotype that the thread is incapable of having intelligent discussions instead of drooling posts.
