Well, i wikied it last year when I did a history essay on battleship warfare.  Does that count?

No. It'll make sense at the end.

Not an image or film artist, so I don't know much.  My artistic skills are confined to 3d modelling.

Indeed the only way this would make sense is if Sovereign was directly and continualy influencing their sentience not giving them the chance to form their own opinion on the reapers and ensuring their loyalty otherwise he risks creating a most deadly enemy to the reaper cause.

The reapers have no motivation for sabotaging organics.  They've wiped out the galaxy hundreds of times, its like taking out the garbage to them.  They assume they can just swoop in again, take the Citadel, and wipe all organic life out.  Advanced tactics are a waste of time.

Where the reapers get involved is when the geth start evolving along their own lines, not the reaper guidelines.  Then they have to come in and knock the geth down a peg.  The same reason the rachni got taken out I assume.

Okay, I'm not even ex military and that level of gun idiocy drives me to distraction. I can't imagine Shepard even being able to concentrate on 'doing his job' in said situation.
