I have the feeling that is going to be Geth pulling the galaxies ass out of the fire when the Reapers come ... its just  hunch

But I think you might be worried more that this theory could be harmful to Legion, whom you seem to have a enfatuation with. This doesn't because even something born of evil or malicontent can lead to something good. This is why I pointed out why only some of the geth followed Sovereign though a little to his discust because of the worship, something they learned from the quarians. This is something Sovereign didn't see coming which means the geth would be very likely be a big help in the coming battle.

Nah, it has nothing to do with that. I'm just having trouble seeing why Nazara would have uplifted the geth on the off chance that they might help him. If he wanted to make sure they would, he'd have introduced programming to make sure it happened instead of simply giving them the catalyst to become sentient. There would have been more than just sentience in any programming changes he made.

This is especially true if the geth are important enough that they could tip the balance in either direction. He would have made damn well sure he could control them, otherwise it would be foolish to uplift them in the first place.

Couple theories on that.
 
One is that they might be alot like the Reapers but in much smaller platforms, a kinship in one forum.

Theory two: Soverign aready tried and failed to open the Citidel, thus needing allies to open it, but his allies couldn't point back to him if they failed. If they where to attack and take the citadel everything would be blamed on the Geth groind rogue, and the Quarians who orginally made them. With this style he could send the geth fleet in and take out defence fleet then move in once the defenders have been softened up enough that there is hardly a threat to him. Even in war the Pawns going in first followed by the king.

Thrid Theory: Soverign might have been uploading the programs in small patches, however the programs worked a little to well when the Quarians heared the questions they responded. They might have shut down part of the network which likely cut communications which means no more uploads.

But why would he even bother? The geth gained sentience 300 years ago.. Sovereign only just failed to take the Citadel two years ago. If he couldn't indoctrinate them in 300 years after uplifting them, then.. hell, I don't even know.

Well they are far superior to the geth. I'm sure they could delete them pretty easily. They are just a tool to weaken and break up organics so they couldn't bring up a unified front. If everyone is fighting each other and are weak it's that much easier to reap the smaller factions. If some one is obviously dominate in the battles it a prime target for REaper reproduction.
