I still can't see this as a reason for them interferring with the geth. It's adding yet another strong race to the playing field where if the geth never gained sentience, they wouldn't be a threat at all.

The Iowa class BBs must have been boring for such an essay, seeing as they were nothing but mobile gun platforms for shore bombardment and (later) missile launchers.

Exactly why I did research on them.  They're a nearly perfect battleship design, but aren't used for their intended purpose because they're too vulnerable to aircraft.  My main focus was on the Bismarck, the HMS Prince of Wales, and the two Yamatos, though.

Now, back to Tali?

The geth were sentient before Sovereign's interefence.  It seems like he just offered to make them favored slaves or even a Reaper someday.

Exactly right. Shepard proved this point. The reapers may be powerful but they couldn't stand to a unified Galaxy.

No, that I totally agree with. What I'm talking about is Shadowomega's claim that Nazara had a hand in the geth's gaining sentience to begin with.

Then that's yet another reason why they wouldn't have helped the geth, if they didn't have a way to control them or any kind of fail-safe. Sure, they got some of them--the Heretics--but that was a very small faction and might not even have been because of the Reaper's influence at all.

dosent it say in the codex that the heretic geth may make up as little as 5% of the total geth population? Thats something that you should really think hard about before going to war, just imagine stiring up that hornets nest. On the other hand they would make for kick ass allies
