I know some like to think it's the l-word, but I always figured that "want to" makes more sense, because she's talking about doing something for Shepard.

Edit:  damn, the thread is booking tonight.

I'd put my money on 'want to' as well. I don't Tali would break out the L word so soon. She would probably need to know 100% that Shepard felt the same first and even then she'd be nervous to say it, I think.

With that thinking, Love makes more sense.

It would explain why she didn't say it.

How in the hizzle did I forget that?  Did you have an official name for it, or are you sticking with ???? or Call of the Elder Machines?

Well as for the Rachii they where likely a test to the two races that where there at the time. As for why not doing this after the first geth uprising 300 years ago, I believe now he had the means to get to the citadel but he didn't have a full understanding of the force capablity along with what was wrong with the citadel. For the caution from the Reapers this is likely the first time ever they have ever had this level of resistants and failure, it is also likely they never had to face off against multiple races. The Proteans where the only race in control of the citadel in the last reaping, which means either they where the only ones advanced enough to leave their homeworld, or they out right exterminated anything or anyone that would be a threat to their dominance. A couple worlds in one system that can be scaned in their descriptions state that the world was bombared into extention and archolgical studies show that the species that was there was an avian race that was in the bronze age.

I believe that she was going to say 'want to'. I think it fits her personality more then 'love you' would have for that situation. 'Like you' maybe, but not 'love'.

Nope!  You win!

The Iowa class BBs must have been boring for such an essay, seeing as they were nothing but mobile gun platforms for shore bombardment and (later) missile launchers.

Actually the Iowa was used mainly for its AA role for fleet support, their main guns where used very little, but when they where they devistating. Infact the Jersey broke from her carrier group to provide assistants to another fleet which engaged the ****** fleet sent to take them out. When "Big J" Showed up the battle switched in favor of the US as the Jersey's guns helped in sinking the ****** fleet. The Iowa wasn't really a full fledge BB like the Bismark, or Yamamoto, they where Fast Battleships the quickest battleships ever built. This is why I had started building a design of these ships for a reintroduction into the Mass Effect Universe.

Well due to the people going toward talks of the war with the reapers, I was thinking of finishing work on a ship concept I have been working on. Unlike the Dreadnaughs that are in current use this would be a new class, a fast dreadnaugh, kind of like the Fast Battleships of WW2. Instead of using one massive Cannon that goes the lenght of the ship, it would utilize turret base Thrax cannons for its main weapon system.While using smaller cannons to act a point defence vs smaller ships and maybe fighters. Maybe even going as far as barrowing the UV lasers the Salarans use on their ships. Atm the current ship profile matches the Higarran Heavy Cruiser from Homeworld 2.







Current Concept puts 4 Thrax cannons forwad Dorsal, and 4 forward Ventral.  They would be Arranged 2 Port, 2 Stern, In step like formation, similar to WW2 area battleships. This would allow for maxium fireing archs and overlapping fields of fire should the ship be surrounded. Would have the same set up to the aft section. This departure in design would make up for where the Destiny Accession Failed.
