I'm not the sort to actually begin a discussion. Ah, but I do have one that may reveal some interesting input...
Do you think Tali would actually like you as you are?

Just popping in, haven't been active on this thread though I have been lurking around.
To answer the question, I'd say, yes, I would believe someone like Tali if given a fair chance to get to know the person I am, would like me, as I am, the person I am. The real question is, given the hypothetical situation, just how much of ourselves can we still be if we were to live in the world of Mass Effect. I'd expect that quite a bit of what and whom we are could be very very be very different because we'd actually be interacting with Alien species for real, Shanxi would have been a real event as well as the recent events during the Battle of the Citadel. Would I have the same feelings towards the Quaians, the Turians or the Krogan as I would playing a game where the events that happen in such is just fantasy?
I do know that the core of whom I am would still would like to give people a chance, to know them before being prejudiced, so that at least is one trait I think would be in good standing in regards to Tali, a Quarian whose race is subjected to prejudice and scorn, would appreciate.
