"The Nameless City" is my favorite track from that album.

Each album from Nox Arcana has a theme to it, Necronomicon being Lovecraft. Grimm Tales, my favorite of theirs, is set on old fairy tales, namely those of the Grimm Brothers. Blackthorne Asylum is also a good one.

Well, I like desert Tali too.  I just find her helmet in that one to be a bit... off.  Too small or something.  Usually this wouldn't bother me, but her mask IS her face, so it has to be just right for a perfectionist like me...

I did and do you know the scene that played in my head?

The figure that looks like a woman begins to stand, her movements are jerky and hard like a machine being forced to life after years of neglect and rust. The sound of her bones cracking as she moves fills the oddly calm air. No birds sing, no wind blows, and even in the light of the midday sun there seems to be a chill.
Her eyes never leave my own. She never blinks. Not once. I want to run, but can not. I want to scream, but can not. In desperation, or perhaps in fear that I'll lose my mind if I don't do otherwise, I shut my eyes. I count from five to zero, willing the creature away. Telling myself that this is a nightmare, a hallucination, that I'm not seeing what I know in my heart that I am.
As I reach the final number I open my eyes. The ground before more is blessedly empty. I let out a audible sigh of relief, the feeling of overwhelming joy running through my veins like a sweet drug.
Two impossibly long, misshapen arms wrap around my chest, embracing me as I feel the owner's body pressed against my back. Even though her clothing and my own, I can feel the ice-like cold of her skin from a body that knows neither a beating heart or rushing blood.
Her veiled face hovers over my shoulder, her lips inches from my ear. When she speaks, her voice sounds soothing, seductive, and completely poisonous.
"Lover," she whispers as pretty as can be.
I close my eyes and begin to count backward, this time from ten, as her hands begin to dig through my flesh and bone. By the time I hit zero, I feel one chilly hand enclose around my heart and squeeze.

Just listened to "The Nameless City", I picture it going very well with Doom II. Haven't heard of Grimm or Blackthorne. Will have to give that a look. 

Ah, anyways, back to Tali I suppose.
