I assume that the headcloths are there for fashion/beauty and differentiate males from females (not that it would be hard to otherwise, but we all know there are different fashion for men and women).

It seems pretty easy to distinguish males from females just by shape.  And the males have headcloths, too.

I know it's easy. Males have headclothes? If they do, not in the same way, you can sees those tubes from the helmet to the rest of the suit on males.

Hair does seem like it would begin to phase out of the genetics due to being in a suite for so long, sense hair is something that was supposed to keep your body warm...

That's not how things like that work.

In real life undesirable traits are phased out because the people who have those traits have trouble finding mates and producing offspring while people with desirable traits find it much easyer to spread their seed.

Now with quarians genetics has nearly nothing to do with mating due to the fact that no one can see eachother, as a result genetic traits would get passed on indiscriminatly, kinda like in human cultures that work with pre-aranged marriges exclusivly.
