well we find out in ME3. also you forgot the Rachni one of the big choices that might affect the battle.

I'm curious how they will affect it personally.  I'm leaning towards if they're there, a random colony or something that affects nothing is saved, and if they aren't there, its destroyed.  Doesn't change anything, but makes people who played ME1 feel good.

If I get another ME1 choice-email where they're just thanking me for showing them mercy, I'll be pissed.

i know some magazine took points away from ME2's rating becasue they "over referenced" the first game. I raged

Game where you play as a Quarian during her or his pilgrimage would be so awesome. I would definetly buy it and send a lot of positive feedback to Bioware.

I cant help think of the experience as akin to being a latino/african/middle-eastern foreigner visiting the U.S.

you lose a lot of experince when you do that I tried with a deuflat Shepard man I was so dissapointed I didn't finish that playthrough.

Thanks to the first 30 minutes of Saving Private Ryan the thread and topic have moved on without me. I guess I just conclude that my mother being a lawyer and my brother being in law school has definitely influenced my view of Tali's trial. I'm grateful that Shepard has the ability to exonerate Tali without presenting the evidence, but in reality a hero speech with no evidence, and only mention of her service record, would never convince me or any Admiral that Tali was deserving of being innocent when evidence was available to suggest she may be at fault in the case. I feel that it is an unearned victory, and that a much more powerful conclusion to the mission would be had if Shepard was only able to exonerate Tali by going against her wishes and presenting the evidence against Rael. It drives home the fact that even Shepard can't win them all and that no matter what you do for your people, many of them will have little trouble with throwing you to the wolves if necessary. It is equally powerful in that Shepard is willing to continue to fight on Tali's behalf even though her exile is a certainty, even though he will fail. I find that more emotionally satisfying, and more telling about how Shepard feels about Tali, and even his crew as a whole.

  


  Nothing says I love you like facing the firing squad together ... but I have to agree it does make Shep very much human.... Now if they could just write better romance  lines  for the man dear  God some of the stuff he says makes me gag at at times...hmm maybe its the  voice actor... I am all for  FemShep/Tali man Jennifer Hales voice so much easier on the ears.

Not only did I not give her the Geth Data, but I rejected her, then went to Miranda.

That was my first playthrough.

But it's all good now, I played ME1, Andersons' Council, all the good stuff, Geth Data given to Tali, and Tali is mai cuppy cake in ME2 and hopefully ME3.

Regardless, even if the trial had been fair and correct, you're referencing the American justice system (I'd think), and that is just about the WORST system to compare to.

Tali technically did nothing wrong. The tribunal itself does not have any evidence to prove she brought active Geth into the fleet. If they did, I never saw it. It makes their case just as flimsy as yours. Second, you are dealing with an impartial, biased, and politically influenced "jury".

"Miranda" is a very naughty word in this thread. We've even established that it's Shepard and Tali's safe word when they're having sexy time. It's an instant mood killer.
