“Are we certain that this is the right thing to do?” Han’Gerrel asked of the other admirals as they looked upon their copy of the datapad. “If we agree to support this, if we agree to commit to this war, our entire race might bear the consequences.”

“That’s odd.” Zaal’Koris chided him from across the table. “I’d have thought you’d jump at the chance to go to war.”

“With the Geth certainly.” Han frowned at his political rival. “But this is far more dangerous. Say we fail? Say this plot is foiled.”

“It is not a decision to be made lightly.” Daro’Xen agreed scanning her eyes over the document.

“But the principle behind this choice must be upheld.” They turned seeing the normally silent Shala’Raan adding her signature to the document. “I submit a vote in favor of war.”

Han blinked before chuckling from behind his mask. “Well, what are they going to do? Ostracize us again?” He clicked his message of assent into the datapad. “Let’s do it.”

Koris nodded as he added his own name to the document. “There comes a time when someone has to say enough. I say that time is now.”

Xen nodded as she added the final curve to her name. “Far be it for me to defend what does not work.”

“Then it is decided.” Shala’Raan sent the fully signed document back to the Normandy. “We will go to war.”

“We judge in favor of supporting Shepard-Commander.” The one thousand one hundred and eighty three voices that inhabited the platform designated “Legion” submitted to the Geth communion. The consensus had been reached to add this recommendation after the analysis of the document Shepard-Commander requested sent to the Geth commune.

There was a pause for a fraction of a second as they other processes considered this and responded with the simple message of “Clarify.”

“Observation: Shepard-Commander allied himself with the True Geth against the Old Machines; the government body designated as the “Citadel Council” has judged his actions in preparation for Old Machine assault to be threatening to their continued control over the galaxy. We judge that their removal from power is preferable to risk of preemptive assault.”

The rest of the geth considered this, several million processes agreed with this viewpoint though others disagreed. “Observation: This course of action confirms Council suspicion of treasonous activities.”

“Counterpoint: Attempt on Shepard-Commander’s life has already been attempted by Williams-Operative under orders of Anderson-Councilor. We judge a ninetieth percentile probability of subsequent assassination attempts if no action is taken.” Legion paused for a fraction of a second as it considered something. “Addendum: This platform intends to assist Shepard-Commander regardless of consensus reached.”

The geth commune was silent hundreds of millions of programs considering and matching viewpoints together. The billions of Geth spoke as one to the platform. “Total Consensus achieved.”

“We will assist Shepard-Commander.”

*Shepard and Garrus stand in the armory, inspecting equipment for an upcoming mission. Garrus turns to Shepard before checking the sights on his sniper rifle.*

Garrus: So... You and Tali?

*Shepard ejects an old thermal clip from his pistol before turning to Garrus.*

Shepard: You noticed?

*Garrus shrugs, placing the rifle back on the table.*

Garrus: Well, you just confirmed it.

*Shepard grins, replacing the pistol's thermal clip. The two friends share a long silence.*

Garrus: Can I just say that it's about damn time?

*Shepard laughs. He smiles as he turns to Garrus.*

Shepard: Were we both that obvious?

Garrus: You two were inseperable! I'm amazed it took you both as long as it did.

*Another shared silence.*

Garrus: Can I ask you something?

*Shepard places the pistol back on the table before crossing his arms, his full attention on Garrus.*

Garrus: What does she look like?

*Shepard raises an eyebrow.*

Shepard: I don't kiss and tell, Garrus.

Garrus: So there was kissing?

*Shepard turns back to the table, examining his pistol again.*

Garrus: Oh come on! You can tell me!

Shepard: Joker's got his betting pool up and running again?

Garrus: Shepard... I've got a whole lot of money riding on this.

I see, I would alway rather not burn bridges if I don't have too. So she stays always in my games.

Sorry about the typo it was about Exiling tali or getting  her name cleared and still keeping her loyalty  during the mission and the possible fallout of both options. Plus a good bit of the  analysis  on  Koris and  Xen power struggle with in the fleet

If you insist. Though i'd like to point out that sometimes even mostly-Paragon Shepards can use Lower Left Red sometimes.

Garrus: I don't know about this, Shepard...
Shepard: Trust me, this is going to work.

*Shepard drags Garrus into the Dark Star, making a bee-line for the stage, which was currently unlit. Shepard taps a few commands on his omni-tool as the stage lights up, a set of holo-synth instruments holding shapeless, blocky forms until being relit and configured into a set of drums and a couple of guitars. Only a few notice when Shepard and Garrus climb on stage to make adjustments to their guitars. Tali eventually emerges from a back room, then gets on stage as well taking her place at the drums. She nods to Shepard.*

Tali: All set. I think we're ready to do this!

*Tali clacks her drumsticks together, then bounces one off the floor and back into her hand with a flourish. Shepard raises an eyebrow.*

Tali: What? I've always wanted to play in front of a crowd.
Shepard: *smiles, then turns to Garrus* Alright... you get the groupies, I get the drummer. You ready for this?
Garrus: This has got to be abuse of Spectre authority.
Shepard: Actually, this is abuse of telling the club owner I could play a hell of a show. Now....

*Shepard plays the opening chords...*

Shepard: Lets do this.

*Shepard plays the rest of the intro, with Garrus following shortly afterward.*

Shepard (Lower Left Red): Dark Star! Are you ready to rock?!

*In classic form, the crowd goes wild. Somehow, a bra comes flying on-stage.*

Shepard: *under breath* Oh, I think they're ready for ya.
Garrus: *under breath* Beautiful. *In high-tempo, flanging voice* Now all you women, who want a man on the scene and don't know which way you're gonna turn... Just keep a comin', and hold your hand out to me, cause I'm the one that's gonna make you burn!

*The three proceed to rock the house down. True to his word, Garrus got the groupies, Shepard got the drummer.*

Tali is displeased with people setting off fireworks by the drive core.
