I liked the earlier suggestion about Tali cooking something. Imagine it's Shepard's birthday, and Tali wants to make him a cake...

*Tali and Shepard share a seat in a bumper car, Shepard taking a quick right turn and pushing a krogan out of the way. Tali giggles as she shouts to be heard over the carnival's noise.*

Tali: This is so much fun!

*Shepard grins.*

Shepard: Yeah? Watch this.

*Shepard suddenly makes a full u-turn, hurtling onto incoming bumper car traffic.*

Tali: Shepard!

*Tali braces herself as Shepard dodges and swirves through the traffic, coming out at the end untouched. Tali opens her eyes as the cars slow to halt, laughing as they climb out of the bumper car.*

Tali: You bosh'tet!

*Shepard picks her up in a hug, the couple laughing as they exit.*

Tali: We should try that trick for real some time.

Nice :D I'm sure the silly 'shoot the target games' aren't happy to have Shepard around either. Bankrupt them of stuffed animals.

“Are we certain that this is the right thing to do?” Han’Gerrel asked of the other admirals as they looked upon their copy of the datapad. “If we agree to support this, if we agree to commit to this war, our entire race might bear the consequences.”

“That’s odd.” Zaal’Koris chided him from across the table. “I’d have thought you’d jump at the chance to go to war.”

“With the Geth certainly.” Han frowned at his political rival. “But this is far more dangerous. Say we fail? Say this plot is foiled.”

“It is not a decision to be made lightly.” Daro’Xen agreed scanning her eyes over the document.

“But the principle behind this choice must be upheld.” They turned seeing the normally silent Shala’Raan adding her signature to the document. “I submit a vote in favor of war.”

Han blinked before chuckling from behind his mask. “Well, what are they going to do? Ostracize us again?” He clicked his message of assent into the datapad. “Let’s do it.”

Koris nodded as he added his own name to the document. “There comes a time when someone has to say enough. I say that time is now.”

Xen nodded as she added the final curve to her name. “Far be it for me to defend what does not work.”

“Then it is decided.” Shala’Raan sent the fully signed document back to the Normandy. “We will go to war.”

“We judge in favor of supporting Shepard-Commander.” The one thousand one hundred and eighty three voices that inhabited the platform designated “Legion” submitted to the Geth communion. The consensus had been reached to add this recommendation after the analysis of the document Shepard-Commander requested sent to the Geth commune.

There was a pause for a fraction of a second as they other processes considered this and responded with the simple message of “Clarify.”

“Observation: Shepard-Commander allied himself with the True Geth against the Old Machines; the government body designated as the “Citadel Council” has judged his actions in preparation for Old Machine assault to be threatening to their continued control over the galaxy. We judge that their removal from power is preferable to risk of preemptive assault.”

The rest of the geth considered this, several million processes agreed with this viewpoint though others disagreed. “Observation: This course of action confirms Council suspicion of treasonous activities.”

“Counterpoint: Attempt on Shepard-Commander’s life has already been attempted by Williams-Operative under orders of Anderson-Councilor. We judge a ninetieth percentile probability of subsequent assassination attempts if no action is taken.” Legion paused for a fraction of a second as it considered something. “Addendum: This platform intends to assist Shepard-Commander regardless of consensus reached.”

The geth commune was silent hundreds of millions of programs considering and matching viewpoints together. The billions of Geth spoke as one to the platform. “Total Consensus achieved.”

“We will assist Shepard-Commander.”

In this scenario is it paragon/renegade shep or just the council being the ultimate band of deuches: either way sonds really bad ass. But wtf happened to make Anderson betray him? this seems highly unlikely.

Udina maybe. I could see this as a scenario where you may have to instigate a coup of some sort and you'll have the backing of all the allies you made over the two games.

I seem to recall someone else handling this before...

Tali puts on a pair of socks and slides around the Cabin.

Recall the Quarian that tried out the stock market and lost? Shep and Tali could discuss the migrant fleet and using the stock market...

Notice the complete difference between the competition in the markets and the cooperative Quarian lifestyle.

*Tali, Shepard, and Garrus stand with their weapons ready, scanning the frozen lake of the tundra for sighns of life. Tali's voice picks up as she scans her omni-tool.*

Tali: There's nothing here, Shepard. The Sensor Relay on the Normandy must have picked up a ghost reading.

Garrus: Great. Can we go now? Turians hate the cold, remember?

*Shepard folds up his Revenant, staring out at the frozen lake before running out into it and sliding on it's smooth surface. Garrus tilts his head to the side as Tali raises a brow beneath her visor.*

Garrus: What is he doing?

Tali: I'm not sure...

*Tali approaches the edge of the lake, Shepard sliding to meet her and taking her hand in his.*

Shepard: C'mon, the ice is smooth.

Tali: What are you- Oh!

*Shepard pulls Tali with him onto the ice, their boots not exactly ideal, but the ice proving to be smooth enough for them.*

Shepard: Relax your legs. Don't get stiff. Use your momentum.

*Tali slides along the ice with Shepard, a smile crossing her face.*

Tali: Do humans do this often?

Shepard: Some, yes. But we have special shoes with blades attatched to the soles for it. Makes things like this easier.

Tali: Things like wha- Ah!

*Shepard takes Tali into his arms as he sprints across the ice, letting his running momentum carry them across the ice, before tumbling into a bank of snow, laughing as they fall.*

Garrus: Great. Gonna be stuck here...

Your minfic superiority continues. This ice skating made me think of hockey. In which I think Grunt would finally find a human sport he appreciates.

I was almost certain that Tali was going to slip here, and Shep was going to catch her, this way is nice to though.  Love Garrus' reaction

Grunt would win by KO.
