A word is defined by it's use and it's origin. That some literary morons wish to not accept it as "proper grammer" or deject it as "slang" only shows an ineptitude for adaptation, and a clinging to traditional values that are both narrow and restrictive to growth and expansion. While I think the fluidity and evolution of language is a valid point, I feel change should have purpose. Making words longer than they used to be without adding any increased clarity to their meaning is counterproductive.
