Game limitations, sadly. But I agree: full renegade should put off pretty much any LI, even if he's specifically nice to them.Calinstel wrote...
Actually, I never understood that.
Tali is at best a paragade person. A full renegade Shepard should have put her off any romance in my book.
It's like that line about "they call her a "thing" on the Citadel" or whatever it is, when you take Legion to the Flotilla. What kind of douche brings that up just to make a point?

Honestly though, they NEED to bring back the intimidate/charm skills from ME 1. And divorce them from paragon/renegade imnsho. I'd also like to see a paragon and renegade resolution to story missions.

I'd prefer to make a correction without repeating other people's bigotry in front of the target of that bigotry myself, I guess. And seriously: Captain Kar'Danna has been on pilgrimage, too. You think he doesn't know what it's like out there? C'mon.
Some times you may need to be blunt to drive the point home. Depending how thick headed the other one is.
And seriously, every one has been on the pilgrimage, and at least taught about the racism they will face. But I find it hilarious that nobody warns Shepard what kind of racism he might ran into within the fleet. Of course the events in Ascencion and Shepard's actions may have lowered their prejudice towards humans, but still. It's there.

I agree with part one, but not so much with part two. I'd prefer not to have to spend precious skill points for dialogue options.uhdnrt wrote...
See, that was one of the things I liked about KotoR - you could see the decisions and how they would affect the party. I'd like something like that in ME 3. A good example of that in the fiction is AoD Tali - how she would "fall" while being with Renegade Shep.
Honestly though, they NEED to bring back the intimidate/charm skills from ME 1. And divorce them from paragon/renegade imnsho. I'd also like to see a paragon and renegade resolution to story missions.
If they got a lot more use (like the persuade stuff in DA) I'd see the point. Otherwise... not so much.

Seems more like the hate in the Flotilla is directed at Cerberus, not humans. And I'm willing to forgive the reaction to Legion. The geth nearly wiped them out, and it's a nasty trick springing Legion on them the way Shep does.Thelacan wrote...

Take Legion to the flotilla, choose renegade response to Kar'Danna, making an order to remove the geth thing from his ship.
"Sometimes I take Tali with me to the Citadel and the custom guys call her "that thing". This one's name is Legion."

Yeah, if you bring Legion onto the Migrant Fleet, they yell at Shepard to "get that thing off my ship!" He replies back (i think if you choose a renengade answer) That people outside of the migrant fleet refer Tali as "That thing" if she's on other ships to tell them to shut the hell up...pretty much. Look it up on you tube for Legion getting on the migrant fleet. You'll see it.

It's one of the dialogue options if you take Legion to the Flotilla. Kar'Danna throws a fit about Shep bringing that "thing" (Legion). One of Shep's replies is "They call Tali a 'thing' on the Citadel" or something along those lines.Calinstel wrote...

Is it just me, or is Legion hilariously cute when he's tilting his head side to side while that argument is going on like a cat trying to figure out what the hell is up? He just looks so confused/curious about the whole ordeal.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Agree about the geth and the reaction. I just don't "condemn" the renegade answer so much.
