-Normandy SR2, Cargo Deck-

*Tali and Xen are still fighting, rolling on the floor. Trading punches, kicks and scratches to one another - sometimes rolling into highly suggestive positions*

Tali: Arghhh..!
Xen: G-give it up, Tali..!
T: No..!
X: I don't want to kill you, Tali, but I will..!

*Xen delivers a heavy blow to the top of Tali's head, dazing her and letting go of Xen. Xen crawls towards her discarded knife*

T: Nnugh...

*Xen recovers her knife, and runs back to Tali, pinning her knife to Tali's neck*

T: Shepard! Help!
Shepard: *to Kasumi* Yeah, but you shouldn't be ashamed of what you-... Tali!

*Shepard pulls out a pistol and aims for Xen's head*

X: Don't do it, Shepard! I'll have her throat slit by the time you fire a round!
S: Put the knife down, Xen...
X: What? No!
S: Worth a shot.
T: S-Shepard...
S: Hey, it's okay...

*Tali then sees Garrus far behind Shepard with his sniper rifle out*

Garrus: *over radio* Tali, turn off your shields...
T: I can't...
G: Hang on. I'll use my omni-tool...
T: Wait, what?
G: Don't worry, none of this makes any sense.
T: Oookay...

*While Shepard distracts Xen, Garrus eventually turns off Tali's shields and takes aim*

X: Bring your "Legion" down here, and we'll talk...
S: Alright...
G: *over Shepard's and Tali's radios* Taking the shot.

*shortly after, Garrus fires and hits Xen's knife from her grasp - Shepard quickly moves in while Xen is dazed and knocks her out with the butt of his pistol*

S: Nice shot, Gare-bear.
G: Why does everyone call me that now?
T: *slightly shaky* I think it suits you.
S: You okay, Tali?
T: I'll be okay - a few scratches on my suit, but nothing serious.
S: Alright, you go and take a shower or something, and I'll-
G: Why a shower? Can't she just go to sleep or something?
S: *whispering* Shut up, dude.
G: I'll never understand human ways of shooting.
S: "Shooting"? Don't you mean "scoring"?
G: Whatever.
T: A shower does sound quite nice - what about Xen?
X: We'll take care of that, don't worry.
T: Alright, see you in a bit.

*Tali walks to the elevator, adding swing to her hips in each step*

G: Is she aroused?
S: Maybe.
G: A woman of action. You lucky b*stard.
T: *through radio* You know I can hear you, Garrus.
G: *loud cough* ANYWAY, what do we do with Xen?
S: I have something... where's Kasumi?
G: Wow, really, Shepard..?
S: Yeah, really.
[pause]
G: Fine by me.
S: She'll be disappointed by the lack of mud, though.
[Garrus chuckles]
G: Hey, I would be too.

*at that moment, Kasumi uncloaks into view, with her arms crossed*

S: Oh, we were just talking about you...
Kasumi: I KNOW.
G: Hey, c'mon, we're doing you a favour here.
K: Yeah, okay, just give her here.

*Xen's eyes begin to open, only to find herself in a different part of the ship, Kasumi's room*

K: *whispering* Hey...
X: What happen-..?
K: Shhh...
X: ...
K: It's okay...
X: Keelah...

-Normandy SR2 - Shepard's Cabin-

S: You in there, Tali?
T: Just... argh! Just a second..!
S: Hey! I thought we said we'd take off your suit together from now on!
T: Don't come in!
S: I'm comin' in!
T: No!

*Shepard rushes into his cabin, seeing Tali helmet-less and the top part of her suit removed - she quickly turns around and hides her breasts from Shepard*

S: Well, at least it's not all off...
T: I'm sorry, Shepard...
S: It's okay - I could tell you were eager; so was I, after your little fight with Xen.
[Tali giggles]
S: You've got such a nice ass-Uh, I mean, back...
T: Uh huh... you going to help me get this damned thing off or not?
S: Taken your meds?
T: You know it.

*Shepard and Tali embrace one another and begin to remove the lower parts of Tali's suit slowly - and the proceed to the shower*

S: Hey, Tali?
T: Mm?
S: Y'know what would suck?
T: What?
S: If this was, like, a story, and the author decided to leave this on a so called 'cliff-hanger' for his fans.
T: Heh, yeah, that'd be pretty evil of him.
S: He wouldn't do that, would he..?
[silence]
S: Well, sh*t.

This was a pain to write, but it's done. Enjoy it, and don't call me evil, dammit.

GSM: She seems like a nice girl for our boy.  I think she'll make him happy

GSF: Maybe.  He's a scrapper, and he'll have some fights on his hands defending her honor.

GSM: Just like you did for me when they called me a hillbilly, darling

GSF: (Laughs).  We were quite a couple.  And we lived fully.  Too short, though.

GSM: Some don't get that long...but our boy and Tali can make each other happy.

GSF: There will be some tears, too...

GSM: That's what life is about.  The feelings you have, the feelings you share.

GSF: Well, you want to do a little ghostly blessing?

GSM: Oh, lets!

The two ghosts drift close to Tali.  An odor of rose petals fills the air, both inside the
helmet and outside.  And, for a moment at least, Tali feels surrounded by affection.

The moment passes as the ghosts drift off to other places...

Why do I find the prospect of them being ghosts hilarious?
