I'm afraid I have to cede that title to Zombie Reagan,
that unliving bastion of freedom who has an undying thirst for Communist blood.

He is a better man than I.

Don't feel bad. He is a better man than any of us.

Suit yourself.

If you'd rather, maybe you could get Red, or somebody else to do a story with you. I'm hardly the most talented writer here.

Maybe, maybe not. It's all a matter of opinion.
I think you're damn good either way.

Like I said; the offer is always on the table when you finish some of the other stuff. By then, maybe I'll have kick-started the creative part of my brain again.

I appreciate that. I don't agree, but thanks for the sentiment.

Meh. I don't know how much longer I'll be around. If you want to get started with someone else, go for it. Don't tie yourself down to me.

look... rip. thats never the answer. it may seem like a good decision at the moment but think how it will affect the people around you. dont be so selfish.

Let's not make this about me. I just want him to know that it may be a good idea to start with someone else anyway.

Do you have skype or a similar program?

Now I feel like I'm just being pitied. Like the kid who gets picked last for kickball.
I WILL NOT BE THAT PERSON! NOT AGAIN!

No, I don't have Skype. I don't even know what that is. It sounds delicious.

I wasn't pitying you.

Skype is an instant messaging program with voice chat, and best of all its free.

I know. I was joking. It's hard to portray that sometimes when you can't hear the tone of voice.

Anyway, that thing sounds nifty. Makes me wish I hadn't broken my mic during my last move. That'll teach me to not just throw random crap into a box.

Bored. Repostan!

*Shepard fastens the magnetic clasps of his Blood Dragon armor, Tali smiling under her helmet as the two prepare for the next mission.*

Tali: You know... Quarians had knights.

*Shepard turns to her before he place the helmet on his head, a smirk crossing his face and genuine interest in his tone.*

Shepard: Really?

Tali: Mmhm... They wore armor, traveled Rannoch, did great deeds, slew dragons...

*Shepard smiles as he walks over to Tali, his hand finding hers.*

Shepard: And did they woo maidens?

*Tali suppresses a giggle.*

Tali: Some. Those maidens would often give them a token, as well.

*Tali produces as long strip of cloth that matches the one wrapped around her suit, tieing it around his arm. Shepard smiles as he looks at the cloth, planting a kiss on the light of her voice modulator and bowing his head before fastening his helmet to his armor.*

Shepard: M'lady...

Are you also going to need my credit card and social security numbers?

I dunno If I really want to a duel-project right now, not when there's already the renegade, Lovecraft, and Garrus noir going on. It's the same reason I haven't done anything before: to me if feels too much like flooding the market.

I really do appreciate the offer, though.

The station was far away now, they left all the ships and bodies as they were. They even left Pallin’s corpse in the freighter. The Normandy had already extracted them from the Kodiak just outside the now dead facility, Shepard, Tali, and Garrus have already returned to their ablative home. No one bothered to look back when the station exploded, it did not make a sound in space. When the three stepped off the the shuttle, the crew immediately noticed a missing body, but no one had dared to speak up about it.

The three of them had already deposited their gear back at the armory when EDI notified Shepard about the mission report. Shepard waved the AI off telling it that the Executor can wait for his report. Garrus returned to his station on Deck 3, Tali decided to work again in Deck 4. Shepard sat alone in his cabin, he was disquieted at what had happened. Tali simply worked to try and distract herself.

Shepard thought again at what happened, he pushed the notion away during the mission but that was natural for him. There was no longer an objective to focus on, he could not get the thoughts out of his head, Tali is a danger to his mission capabilities. He would never let anything hinder his progress, but then that happened. He was scared, he is supposed to be an instrument of order and direct force, Shepard had disciplined himself to do whatever it takes to see a mission through and he always would.

Tali threatened that.

This was unfamiliar to him. He was confident that Tali would serve him, he was her Captain and Commander and they both cared for each other. Shepard did not think about how she contributed to a mission, he was busy at the notion that she may get into danger again. Tali was the only thing he cared for personally, she was his one and only emotional attachment, she was the only thing left that made him feel human at all. Remorseless, cold, brutal, the only semblance to a person left in him was his love. What is there to do? What happens if she dies? What happens if she ruins a mission?

Shepard cursed Pallin for getting so close. He cursed himself for caring. He cursed Tali for being there.

in 2010 a crack vidio gamer unit was banned from bioware social for a crime they didn't commit. these men promptly created new usernames in the shadowy internet background. today still monitored by the great stanley woo they survive as fan fiction writers. if you have a subject, and no one else can write a story about it and if theyre on at the time, maybe you can suggest it to... the a-team.
