That is the largest amount of fail I've ever seen crammed into one poll.

We have already cleared the Blue Suns segment, that was a milestone in its own right. We now have this data to see through, and we still have the slavers mentioned at the beginning to add. Pallin was killed off, a character I was actually hoping to use for this story to tie the invovlement with Chellick and the Hierarchy, but we can still find something to do for that instead. You are dividing the story into parts we have yet to actually set the proper pacing, the story is not organized, but not completely off either.RiptideX1090 wrote...
I have absolutely no idea.
Original idea seemed nice enough. Shepard is hunting down some missing colonists taken by the batarians. Something that could fit into the main story as DLC or something...
Somehow, we got the quarians, the Hierarchy, C-Sec, the Human Council, and the Blue Suns all in on something, with no real explanation as to why. Blue Suns are working for the Slavers? Or is it vice versa? Are they taking the ships for themelves? Are they selling the passengers to the Hegemony? Why are the quarians involved? Their ships are hard to get. What is the point? Who is behind it? Why should we care? At some point, we went from wanting to get Shepard to Camala, to doing a serious 180 and going to some Blue Suns station. The flow here makes no sense. I assumed you were going somewhere with it when you introduced the idea with Chellick and Pallin, but every chance I've given you to expand on it has turned up nothing. We have ALL of these things happening, but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. Shepard is doing jobs for Chellick? Why? What does he need Chellick for? He's a Spectre. He's the same level, if not higher, than Chellick. The quarians he might care a LITTLE bit about, only to keep Tali appeased. Beyond that, what's the big deal? We know we're going to Camala, but if he's just going to blow up all of the prisoners, quarian include, what was the point of entering the base at all? Just hit it with the Thannix Cannon, or have someone else take care of it. Shepard's only real concern should be the human colonists and the batarians he hates so much.
I simply can't figure out how to tie all this together in a meaningful way... it feels like we got sidetracked somwhere.

For the record, I prefer the "captain's orders" thing. It's playful.
But, according to TT, I'm a moronic paragon so...
I also like the "Captains orders" line, but the way Meer says it makes it sound more creepy than playful.
the other "I'll wait to you're ready" is more romantic I think.

The point is, we actually cleared a major segment and added some depth to the story. We are not done yet and you ar worried on where else to go with it, we have clear options. The question is how do we go with it?

We added the point that they both realize that their is something wrong with their relationship. I thought that would be a good enough theme to bring up over the course of the story, I did not intend for it to be hammered into every instance.RiptideX1090 wrote...
Pacing? There is no cohesion. The Blue Suns segment was fine, except we didn't actually accomplish anything. Aside from adding tension to Shepard and Tali's relationship, which we could have done FAR more easily on Camala. Instead, we burn through all this exposition, just to get data would could have gotten anyway, to kill off people who never actually mattered, and involved an organization we've given NO explanation for. If I was reading this, I'd be confused as hell. Writing it, I'm confused.
Depth? What depth? We've added TONS of depth to Shepard and Tali, but the plot itself? Am I missing something? If we have clear options, I'd love to hear them.
