Hmmmm... Well I'm in Australia, so that will be early tomorrow morning for me. I'll probably get the email from fanfiction.net. Look forward to it

Ah, aussies. Keep wanting to visit your country but haven't been able to afford it yet.
What amuses me is I get an email from FF.net telling I updated my own story.

Out of curiosity do you have any writing training as such or are you just naturally good at it?

I'd consider myself competent at best lol

But I have no actual training no. I had intended to take some creative writing classes in college but never got a chance. I wrote some other stuff in high school, random stories and a baldur's gate 2 fanfic in a similar style that was never finished so I at least got some practice.

Only real advice I've ever given is read alot. Short of doing it yourself I honestly think its the best way to be better.

Damn. For a sec I thought you had the newest part up already, but came to a bitter realization, that FF.net didn't inform me via email yet.

One of the tricks i do  is  I write the beginning and then I write the ending of my story... then i work my way from point A to point b. I have  found that helps  keeps things in order so you don't have characters going in complete oddball directions..  Another is music, music, music, and music,  I song for almost every scene in my story and I listen to everything from  R&B/Soul to  J-pop/rock.

Really? I'm still in high school, tossing up what English course to do next year. I'd consider myself ok at writing, but i haven't had much experience. Anyway, I'm going to sleep, goodnight all, I may see you again.

I can't really bring myself to sign off with keelah'seli thingo (I no I've Spelt that wrong) it seems a bit... Well, weird. Maybe later.

Anyway, goodnight

I generally try to have a story outline so I know where I'm going next, then fill in the details from there.

I definitely agree on the music. I prefer mostly intrumental to get going but I have quite a few different 'writing' playlists. I've been a big fan of a number of old metallica songs covered by a very talented pianist as good mood setters.

I have everything, though, from old school Run DMC to bagpipes depending on my mood.

I take my story one chapter at a time I don't have many ideas about was is going to happen in the future chapters only a few.

Your math skills amaze me.
Almost as much as DeVry forgetting that I tested out of 4 classes so my schedule didn't get changed until I drove down.
Hello everyone.

Ooh, care to share the name of the pianist? And if his/hers work is availeble in some form?
