If you picked the Quarians, BioWare would have pulled a miraculous plot hole which allowed Tali to live and love you better than ever.

I save them both... I am Shepherd the Ultimate Hero... I  Made it to Illos,  blow up a  Reaper,  Collectors killed  me i just got better and blow their  base up.
