Let's just say that, hypothetically, during or after the events of ME3, Tali is offered a position as an Admiral. Do you think she would accept? If she does, what does that mean for her relationship with Shepard?

She's already heard people suggesting that she become one, and she said that she didn't want to. I'd only see her doing it if it were somehow vital. But really, the only reason people thus far have been suggesting her is because she's "famous" and is an admiral's daughter. Someone with more experience commanding a fleet or ship would be better. I'm hoping at the very least that if Shepard is in a relationship with Tali, she does not become an admiral.

For that matter, might as well ask why she has a scanline hud covering 80% of the inside glass.  It's sci-fi, science occasionally takes a backseat to awesomeness.

Respectfully, it's not the way to it. It's quite Rude, and really pointless.
Use diction if you must to get someone's attention. Photo Bombs just

Well, my Tali is exiled, but i would say she would probably do it.  It is for the good of the flotilla, and as she says "if you don't think about the needs of the whole crew, people could get hurt, mabey even killed".

I don't doubt it would be a hard decision for her, she loves shepard, but the flotilla takes priority.

How did you guys pull that off?

That's something I've really wondered about.  If BioWare wanted to (for some insane reason) not make her a squad mate in ME3, I think that's how they would do it.  Of course If they do this, I will riot. 

But Given Tali's personality, I don't think she would accept...not when she can do so much more, both for the Flotilla and for the galaxy as a whole, by working with Shepard.  Plus she loves him, and being an admiral would keep them apart a lot.<3

The fact that their masks are opaque is also an issue of privacy. Their masks many times are the only privacy they get. It's especially telling, then, that Tali trusts and loves Shepard enough to show her face to him.

As much as I like Tali ... she's not much leadership material. I doubt she'll accept the position but then again, I am not too sure if she can refuse the offer. Perhaps its mandated by Quarian law that once your offered the position, one cannot turn it down?
