pick up the assault rifle  one the Collector  fill the you need for a range attack   

Use shockwave to  crowd control and thin out numbers. esp.. one  platforms... it works wonders in the Collector Base  

Charge only when needed,  

Use Submachine  Gun to rip through shields    

Pick your squad right..

Pretty  They need to  L2P   

Or, instead of the assault rifles, you can pick up the Claymore shotgun. High risk, high reward.

Besides, the Locust SMG has higher DPS than any of the assault rifles except the Vindicator and Revenant.

I like to use that tactic in Battlefield Bad Company. Just whip out the grenade launcher and make a foxhole (i.e, shoot the ground with it until there's a big hole) then jump down and take potshots at anyone who's running by.

Never saw me coming!

Vindicator and Revenant are my weapons of Choice against Scions...  we have another  saying in vanguard boot camp   " A dumb Vanguard is a Dead Vanguard 

  ahh the locust my fav gun in the game  *pets locust SMG  affectionately*       

I was torn  with  the  claymore but in the a Balanced attack  wins out  in my book I don't have  redundant  nervous system like a  Krogan

why climb it when  you can blow it up with less effort

Harder to climb over it in less than a 30sec, but smarter to run around a mile for total and fight with few dozens of a geth?

Shepard: *voiceover* At this point, I realize the flaw in my brilliant plan is that this room is entirely too bright for this.
*Scene resumes in slow-motion. The once appealing gaussian blur lighting catches Tali's faceplate and dazzles Shepard. Blinded, he lands poorly and Tali headbutts him.*

*Interior Shot - Normandy cockpit*
Shepard: *muffled* Ow!
*Joker looks up and shakes his head.*

*Interior Shot - Shepard's Cabin.*
*Tali is straddling Shepard, sitting bolt-upright doing that adorable hand-wringing motion. Shepard's holding his forehead, cringing.*
Tali: Oh Keelah, oh no, oh no...
Shepard: *recovers enough to regain a more positive facial expression* I've had worse.
